Wir steuern auf der N193 (Ajaccio - Corte) die Ortschaft Bocognano an. Entweder rund 40km von Ajaccio aus oder etwa 41 km von Corte über den Col de Vizzavona (1183m üNN). Am östlichen Ortsausgang folgen wir der Wegweisung "Richiusa" und nehmen die kleine Straße in nördlicher Richtung bergab. Nach 950m biegen wir wenige Meter vor Erreichen des Ortsteils Busso links hinunter ab und kommen nach weiteren 700m zu einem großen Parkplatz links (unterhalb) der Straße. Hier stellen wir das Auto ab.

We head for the village of Bocognano on the N193 (Ajaccio - Corte). Either about 40km from Ajaccio or about 41km from Corte over the Col de Vizzavona (1183m above sea level). At the eastern exit of the town, we follow the sign "Richiusa" and take the small road downhill in a northerly direction. After 950m we turn left downhill a few meters before reaching the hamlet of Busso and after another 700m we come to a large parking lot on the left (below) the road. Here we park the car.

Wir queren die Gravona (550m alt.) an das nördliche Ufer und folgen dem Wanderweg "boucle d'u nidu à u corbu". Wir haben die Uferböschung erklommen und nehmen bei der Verzweigung den Weg links, der an der Gravona entlang führt. Nach gut 10 Min. kommen wir zu einer Wegverzweigung und gehen hier rechts (hinauf). Wo der Weg in einer markanten Linkskehre wieder beginnt abzufallen (675m alt.), nehmen wir den unscheinbaren Pfad der hangaufwärts durch die Macchia zieht. Bei etwa 750m Höhe passieren wir einen Felsrücken (siehe auch Foto) und gehen unmittelbat nach diesem links hinunter. Nur undeutliche Spuren führen durch die dichte Macchia hinunter in das Bachbett (730m alt.) Sofern man den oberen Einstieg bei 990m alt. ansteuern will, geht man den zugewachsenen Pfad weiter, bis dieser auf etwa 820m Höhe den Bach erreicht (nicht verifiziert, aber auf IGN-Karte eingezeichnet, Gartenschere unerlässlich). Dort wechselt man auf den orograf. rechten Hang hinüber und steigt über den Felsrücken bis auf gut 1000m Höhe auf. Hier findet man eine Abstiegsmöglichkeit zum Bach. In diesem attraktiven oberen Abschnitt finden sich Rutschmöglichkeiten und eine Engstelle mit einer C32. Jourdan/Fiorina steigen zuerst zum unteren Einstieg ab und steuern von hier auf der orograf. rechten Bachseite den oberen Einstieg an. Zusätzlicher Zeitbedarf im Zustieg etwa 1,5 Std.

We cross the Gravona (550m old) to the northern bank and follow the "boucle d'u nidu à u corbu" hiking trail. We have climbed the embankment and take the path to the left at the fork, which runs alongside the Gravona. After a good 10 minutes, we come to a fork in the path and turn right (uphill). Where the path begins to descend again in a marked leftward haipin bend (675m alt.), we take the inconspicuous path that runs uphill through the maquis. At an altitude of about 750m we pass a rocky ridge (see photo) and immediately after this we descend to the left. Only indistinct tracks lead down through the dense maquis into the streambed (730m old). If you want to head for the upper entry at 990m alt., continue along the overgrown path until it reaches the stream at about 820m altitude (not verified, but marked on IGN map, garden shears essential). There you change to the orographic right-hand slope and climb over the rocky ridge to an altitude of a good 1000m. Here you will find a descent option to the stream. In this attractive upper part there are slides and a narrow section with a C32. Jourdan/Fiorina first descend to the lower entry and from here head for the upper entry on the orographic right side of the stream. Additional time required for access about 1.5 hours.

Kurz vor Erreichen der Gravona nehmen wir links hinaus einen Pfad (rot-orange Markierung), der uns die Gravona entlang, zunächst am Hang aufwärts, flussauf führt (Hausruine). Wieder bergab laufend treffen wir auf unseren Zustiegsweg und folgen ihm zurück zum Auto.

Shortly before reaching the Gravona, we take a path to the left (red-orange markings) that leads us along the Gravona, initially up the slope and upstream (ruined house). Walking downhill again, we meet our access path and follow it back to the car.
