Wir verlassen die Rhonetalautobahn am Ostende des Genfersees über die Ausfahrt Villeneuve. Es geht nach Roche und wir stellen unser Auto in Hang- und Bach-Nähe ab (siehe Anfahrt auf Google-Luftbild).
We leave the Rhone Valley highway at the east end of Lake Geneva via the Villeneuve exit. It goes to Roche and we park our car near the slope and stream (see approach on Google aerial photo).

Der Steig mit Ziel der Hütte "Tête Ronde" (1160m Höhe) beginnt am orograf. rechten Ufer des Baches und ist mit roten Pfeilen markiert. In vielen Serpentinen geht es aufwärts. Auf 810m Höhe kreuzt der Weg den Bach. Hier kann man einsteigen, wenn man nur den interessanteren unteren Abschnitt begehen will. Sonst geht es weiter aufwärts bis auf 1100m Höhe. Dann gehen wir vom Steig ab und steuern in nördlicher Richtung das Bachbett an.
The path with destination of the hut "Tête Ronde" (1160m altitude) begins on the orographic. right bank of the stream and is marked with red arrows. It goes up in many serpentines. At 810m altitude the path crosses the stream. Here you can enter if you want to walk only the more interesting lower part. Otherwise, it continues upwards until 1100m altitude. Then we leave the path and head north towards the streambed.

Am Ende des Abstiegs kann man einmal rechts aus dem Bachbett - unschwierig - hinausklettern, den Zustiegspfad suchen und auf diesem absteigen. Alternati kann man auch im gerölligen und mis Felsblöcken übersähten Bachbett etwas mühsam abklettern bis wir die Häuser von Roche erreichen.
At the end of the descent you can climb out of the streambed once to the right - not difficult - look for the access path and descend on it. Alternatively, you can downclimb a bit laboriously in the streambed, which is covered with boulders, until you reach the houses of Roche.

Alle Sprünge und Rutschen machbar, wenn man nur den untersten Abschnitt (Teil 4) macht ist die Schlucht eher kurz. Nach dem letschten Abschnitt kann durch den Fluss abgeklettert und gelaufen werden, ist aber mühsam.
All jumps and slides are doable, if you only do the lowest part (part 4) the canyon is rather short. After the last part, you can downclimb and walk through the river, but it is difficult.
