Von Cannobio am Lago Maggiore das Tal des Cannobino 9km aufwärts in Richtung Malesco, Domodossola. Im Weiler Ponte Falmenta das Auto für den Ausstieg abstellen.
Mit einem zweiten Auto über den Cannobino, vorbei an den Häusern von Falmenta bis zum großen Parkplatz vor der Ortschaft Crealla (7,8 km Umsetzungsstrecke).
From Cannobio on Lake Maggiore up the Cannobino valley for 9 km in the direction of Malesco, Domodossola. Park the car for the exit in the hamlet of Ponte Falmenta.
Take a second car over the Cannobino, past the houses of Falmenta to the large parking lot before the village of Crealla (7.8 km transfer route).

Vom Auto weg nehmen wir den Maultier-Pfad, der zu den Häusern von Doro hinaufführt (730m Höhe). Dort halten wir bei einer Verzweigung links zum Bach (Einstieg).

Wir gehen den Pfad von der Steinbrücke abwärts, queren dann zuerst den Rio Falmenta, später dann den Cannobino und kommen so zum unteren Auto.
