Von Nuoro nicht direkt auf die alte SP 389 (südwestwärts), sondern der entsprechenden Beschilderung ('Lanusei') folgend zuerst auf die Südumfahrung von Nuoro, auf dieser 5 km westwärts, um dann auf die neue Straße nach Lanusei zu wechseln. Nach 53 km (ab Verlassen der Umgehungsstraße) kommt man an dem linkerhand etwas abseits liegenden Dorf Villanova Strisáili vorbei. Einige Kilometer weiter endet die Ausbaustrecke an der von links aus Richtung Villagrande-Strisali zulaufenden SP27. Weiter zunächst auf der alten SS389 zur Stauwurzel des Lago Alto del Flumendosa und zum Riu Sicaderba. Nun geht es rechts ab von der SP 389, auf einer Brücke über den Fluss und über ein Bahngleis nahe beim Bahnhof Villagrande Strisali (links). Dann geht es erneut über das Bahngleis. Wenige Meter danach geht rechts die Straße zum Canyon Riu e Forru ab. Wir bleiben auf der Hauptstraße und fahren weiter Richtung Taquisara. 4,6 km nach dem Abbiegen von der SS389 geht links eine Piste ab. Auf dieser geht es in südlicher Richteung. Eine links abgehende Piste ignorieren wir. Unsere Piste verzeigt sich nach 1,6 km. Hier stellen wir das Auto (ggf.für den Zustieg) ab ("P1").\n\nSofern wir zwei Autos zur Vefügung haben, die der folgenden Piste gewachsen sind, fahren wir zuerst mit beiden Autos auf der Piste weiter rechts hinunter und kommen nach 1,7 km zu einem Wegekreuz über dem Fluss. Hier stellen wir das Auto für den Ausstieg ab ("P2").

From Nuoro, do not go directly on the old SP 389 (southwestward), but follow the appropriate signs ('Lanusei') first on the southern bypass of Nuoro, on this 5 km westward, to then change to the new road to Lanusei. After 53 km (from leaving the bypass) you pass the village of Villanova Strisáili, slightly off to the left. A few kilometers further on, the road ends at the SP27 coming from the left in the direction of Villagrande-Strisali. Continue first on the old SS389 to the root of the Lago Alto del Flumendosa dam and to the Riu Sicaderba. Now turn right off the SP389, cross the river on a bridge and cross a railroad track near the Villagrande Strisali station (on the left). Then it crosses the railroad track again. A few meters later, the road to Canyon Riu e Forru turns off to the right. We stay on the main road and continue towards Taquisara. 4.6 km after turning off the SS389, a dirt road goes off to the left. We continue on this road in a southerly direction. We ignore a track on the left. Our track turns off after 1.6 km. Here we park the car (if necessary for the access) ("P1").\n\nIf we have two cars available, which are able to cope with the following slope, we first go down with both cars on the slope further to the right and after 1.7 km we come to a crossroads above the river. Here we park the car for the exit ("P2").

Nachdem wir das 2. Auto wieder oben an bezeichneter Stelle geparkt haben ("P1"), nehmen wir die Piste, die leicht ansteigend in südöstiche Richtung führt. Nach gut 550m quert dies Piste eine felsige Bachrinne. Hier steigen wir ein.

After we have parked the 2nd car again at the top in the designated place ("P1"), we take the track that leads slightly uphill in southeastern direction. After a good 550m this track crosses a rocky stream channel. Here we enter.

Über einige Stufen, die umgangen werden können abwärts zur C12 mit der anschließenden C33. Es folgt ei längeres Abklettern bis zu einer C8, die umgangen werden kann. Danach der letzte Abseiler (C12), bevor es im Wald abwärts geht.

Over some steps that can be bypassed down to the C12 with the subsequent C33. There follows a longer downclimb to a C8, which can be bypassed. Then the last rappel (C12) before descending in the forest.

Sobald der Abstieg abflacht, rechts hinaus auf eine Piste und zum unteren Auto. Falls nur ein Auto oben, laufen wir vom angegebenen Platz für das untere Auto die Piste hinauf zum Auto oben (1,7 km).

As soon as the descent flattens out, turn right onto a slope and walk to the lower car. If there is only one car at the top, walk from the indicated place for the lower car up the slope to the car at the top (1.7 km).
