Von Torbole fährt man auf der „SS45bis“ durch Riva und Limone, bis „Prato della Fama“. Hier parkt man das Überstellungsfahrzeug wenn man die Johanna 2 (Vione 2) geht (Parkmöglichkeiten neben der Straße oder beim kleinen Hafen vor dem Tunnel. €5,- Tagesparkticket)). Mit dem 2. PKW fährt man weiter durch den langen Tunnel und zweigt re Richtung Tignale ab. Ab hier folgt man ca. 5Km der Bergstraße die dann auf eine Brücke trifft (Ausstieg Vione 1 bzw. Einstieg Vione 2). Das Auto sollte wegen Einbruchgefahr besser Richtung Piovere hoch nach der 1. Serpentinenkurve bei einer Ausweiche geparkt werden. Für die Begehung der gesamten Schlucht (Vione 1+2) fährt man hoch Richtung Piovere bis zur 2. Serpentinenkurve. Hier folgt man re der schlecht asphaltierten Straße 252 (Markierung am Stein) hoch bis zum Wanderweg 265 Tignale-Aer. Begrenzte Parkmöglichkeit bei der li Kurve auf 460Hm.

Bei einer Parkbucht ca. 150m unterhalb der Straßenbrücke führt ein Trampelpfad ins Bachbett. Man erreicht die Schlucht oberhalb einer Geröllsperre.

Die erste Hälfte der Tour ist eine Waldschlucht im Schichtkalk, mit vielen Gehpassagen und kurzen Abseilstellen und ist noch nicht so überzeugend. Erst ab der Mitte wird die Schlucht kontinuierlicher und lohnenswert. Hier folgen mehrere Abseilstellen (zum Teil Springbar), ohne große Wegstrecke, aufeinander. Das Highlight der Tour ist der 50m Abseiler. Diesen am besten von links abseilen. Der rechte Stand ist schwer zu erreichen. Danach folgt eine kurze Stufe und einer Gehstrecke bevor der Bach im Gardasee mündet (65Hm). Unten Bar.
