Wir verlassen die A12 (Sargans-Chur) über die Ausfahrt Bad Ragaz, fahren durch das Zentrum von Ragaz hinauf nach Pfäfers und in's Val Tamina. Vorbei am Stausee kommen wir zur Ortschaft Vättis. Hier biegen wir rechts ab und fahren westwärts in das Calfeisental und Richtung St. Martin zum Stausee Gigerwald. 4,2 km nach dem Ortszentrum von Vättis und vorbei am Restaurant Gigerwald kommen wir zu einer Linksserpentine (etwa 700m vor Erreichen der Suaumauerkrone). Hier parken wir unser Auto.
We leave the A12 (Sargans-Chur) via the Bad Ragaz exit, drive through the center of Ragaz up to Pfäfers and into the Val Tamina. Passing the reservoir we reach the village of Vättis. Here we turn right and drive westwards into the Calfeisen valley and towards St. Martin to the Gigerwald reservoir. 4,2 km after the village center of Vättis and passing the restaurant Gigerwald we come to a left serpentine (about 700m before reaching the Suaumauerkrone). Here we park our car.

Wir nehmen hier den Bergpfad (blau-weiße Markierung) in Richtung Pizol (2844m) und der gleichnamigen Alpe, der am orograf. rechten Hang des Tersolbaches aufwärts zieht. Wir passieren auf 1380m Höhe die Wasserableitung, wo wir nach dem Abstieg aussteigen werden. Hier können wir den Wasserdurchsatz im Tersol beurteilen. Wir kommen nach einer guten Stunde in ein offenes Hochtal oberhalb der Einschluchtung und steigen hier in den Bach ein.
Here we take the mountain path (blue-white marking) towards Pizol (2844m) and the alp of the same name, which goes up the orographic. right slope of the Tersolbach. At 1380m we pass the water diversion where we will get off after the descent. Here we can judge the water flow in the Tersol. After a good hour we come to an open high valley above the gorge and here we enter the stream.

Es liegen rund 25 Abseiler vor uns. Teilweise im Strahl eines meist ordentlichen Wasserdurchsatzes, aber ohne Rutsch- und Sprungmöglichkeiten. Nachdem sich die Schlucht geöffnet hat, kommen wir zur Wasserableitung, wo wir nach rechts auf den Anmarschweg aussteigen.
There are about 25 rappel ahead of us. Partly in the stream of a mostly decent water flow, but without slides and possible jumps. After the canyon opens, we come to the water drainage, where we exit to the right onto the approach trail.

Noch einige Altschneefelder im oberen Teil. Ein Haken wurde auf Grund des Schnees nicht gefunden. Haken sind beim ersten grösseren Fall reparaturbedürftig. Ansonsten alles top.

Sehr lohnend mit wenig Wasser. Bis zur Tamina runter.
Haben da noch 4 sehr schöne Wasserfälle entdeckt.
