Everything looks fine so far. There's a lot of wood in some places.

Sind die Schlucht komplett begangen, alles soweit in Ordnung. Zustieg über die deutsche Seite problemlos möglich, keine Schilder für ein Verbot. Allerdings sind wir zu weit aufgestiegen und mussten dann eine kleine Wanderung von ca. 200 m im Fluss machen, war aber kein Problem. Ansonsten wunderschöne Schlucht mit glasklaren Pools.

We hiked the entire canyon, and everything was fine so far. Access from the German side was easy; there were no signs prohibiting entry. However, we went too far up and then had to hike about 200 meters along the river, but that wasn’t a problem. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful canyon with crystal-clear pools.

Komplette Kobelache im Anschluss an Spätenbach nochmal begangen. Weiterhin alles i.O. Fixseilen im Mayerloch und vorm Abschlusssprung Merlin werden getauscht. Baumstamm unter der letzten Rutsche aktuell auf 1,50m Wassertiefe noch drin.

We re-rained the entire Kobelache section following Spätenbach. Everything is still in good shape. The fixed ropes in the Mayerloch and before the final jump at Merlin will be replaced. The tree trunk under the last slide is still there at a current water depth of 1.50 meters.

Einiges an Veränderung im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr. Nach der neuen Wasserfassung kein Kettenstand mehr. Hier vom Stahlanker der Drahtseile abseilen. Danach Felssturz vor der Höhle. Hier Oro rechts Abklettern und dann über der alten Höhle neuer Kettenstand. Der Stand in der Decke der Höhle noch vorhanden, diese kann aber nicht mehr begangen werden. Übrigen Abseiler i.O. beim letzten Abseiler liegt noch einiges an Restseil vom Seilgeländer.

There have been quite a few changes compared to last year. There is no longer a chain anchor past the new water intake. Rappel down from the steel anchor of the wire ropes here. After that, there’s a rockfall in front of the cave. Downclimb to the right here, and then there’s a new chain anchor above the old cave. The belay station in the cave ceiling is still there, but it’s no longer accessible. The rest of the rappels are fine; on the last rappel, there’s still quite a bit of leftover rope from the rope traverse.

Fixseil vorm Schlusssprung von Merlin's World mit gerissenem Kern. Haben den Schaden entfernt und Seil wieder eingehängt. Ggf. tauschen wir das Samstag direkt aus. Schlussrutsche haben wir bis 1,50m ausgetaucht und keinen Baumstamm gefunden. Angabe ohne Gewähr, da Sichtweite lediglich 20cm unter Wasser betrug. Im Zweifel lieber springen oder Abseilen.

The fixed rope before the final jump at Merlin's World had a torn core. We repaired the damage and reattached the rope. We may replace it directly on Saturday. We cleared the final slide up to 1.50 m and didn’t find any tree trunks. This information is provided without guarantee, as visibility was only 20 cm underwater. If in doubt, it’s better to jump or do a rappel.

Went night canyoning at Merlin's World again. Just like last time, everything went smoothly.
