Wenig Wasser (unproblematisch). Es wird empfohlen, am Vormittag zu starten, um die wärmende Sonne zu nutzen.

Man kann die Schlucht in einen oberen und einen unteren Teil unterteilen: Oberer Teil: von der Siedlung Mayrhofen bis zur Straßenbrücke der B161. Unterer Teil: von der Straßenbrücke bis zur Siedlung Rettenbach. Den oberen Teil kann man sich sparen: viel Gehgelände und wenige bis kaum interessante Stellen. Im unteren Teil gibt es zwar mehrere Abseilstellen, insgesamt ist die Schlucht aber eher etwas für Sammler. PS: Im Jahr 2024 gab es ein Hochwasser, das viel Holz in der Schlucht hinterlassen hat. Keine Angabe zum aktuellen Zustand.

The canyon can be divided into an upper and a lower part: Upper part: from the settlement of Mayrhofen to the B161 road bridge. Lower part: from the road bridge to the Rettenbach settlement. The upper part can be skipped: lots of walking terrain and few to hardly any interesting spots. There are several abseiling points in the lower part, but overall the canyon is more for collectors. PS: There was a flood in 2024 that left a lot of wood in the canyon. No information on the current condition.
