I rappelled down the upper section in three pitches today. Insufficient anchors and few stainless-steel ones. On the lower section, the first rappel had two sheared anchors! Very high water flow. A very, very beautiful and wild gorge. It deserves to have its anchors fixed up.

Prima ripetizione dopo 18 anni dall'apertura ed ancora non è chiaro come furono superati alcuni ostacoli, soprattutto ad inizio discesa. Avvicinamento in riva sinistra ben ripido e su sentieri non sempre evidenti. Circa a quota 950 tenere la sx ed infilarsi su tracce non chiare fino a vedere il greto. Il greto all'inizio è un ghiaione molto inclinato e quindi scendere con cautela fino a quando l'acqua compare tra i piedi. Installati molti armi vista la scarsità di armi metallici presenti ed ora la discesa è ok. Pozze mai fonde, molte calate con acqua in testa. Pochi i tratti camminati tra una sosta e l'altra. Presenza di almeno due vie di uscita chiare, entrambe in riva sinistra. Una terza è nella seconda metà ed era al servizio della captazione idrica, ormai inagibile ed abbandonata. All'uscita della forra, dopo galleria sotto tratto ferroviario, sono presenti una fontana e due panchine su cui comodamente togliersi la muta.

First repeat after 18 years since opening and still unclear how some obstacles were overcome, especially at the beginning of the descent. Approach on left bank well steep and on trails not always obvious. At about elevation 950 keep left and enter on unclear tracks until you see the creek bed. The creek at first is a very sloping scree so descend carefully until water appears between your feet. Installed many weapons given the paucity of metal weapons present and now the descent is ok. Puddles never melted, many rappels with water overhead. Few walked sections between belays. Presence of at least two clear exit routes, both on the left bank. A third is in the second half and was serving the water catchment, now unusable and abandoned. At the exit of the gorge, after tunnel under railroad section, there is a fountain and two benches on which to conveniently remove your wetsuit.
