Nettes Ambiente und zum Tagesabschluss passende Schlucht. Bei mittleren bis hohen Wasserstand kann diese Schlucht sehr interessant werden. Der Naturanker am Schlusswasserfall, wurde ebenfalls ausgelassen. Sonst sind die restlichen Anker in gutem Zustand

Nice atmosphere and a canyon that’s perfect for ending the day. When the water level is moderate to high, this canyon can be quite interesting. The natural anchor at the final waterfall was also omitted. Otherwise, the remaining anchors are in good condition.

Heute 2. Versuch geglückt und über den Rio Gana zugestiegen, siehe gpxtrack. Insgesamt 45min. Bachlatscher. Attraktives Ambiente mit Highlight C30. Wir sind 200m früher bei einer Brücke die einen Wanderweg führt ausgestiegen, der uns anschließend direkt ins Dorf geführt hat. Ausstieg oro. Links nach der Brücke. Anker am C30 Top, 2-3 Stellen wurden abgeklettert, wo ein Anker schön gewesen wäre.

Today, our second attempt was successful—we ascended via the Rio Gana; see the GPX track. A total of 45 minutes of wading through the stream. Attractive surroundings, with C30 as the highlight. We got out 200 meters earlier at a bridge leading to a hiking trail, which then took us directly into the village. Exit at Oro. Turn left after the bridge. Anchor at the C30 top; we had to downclimb 2–3 spots where an anchor would have been nice.

Haben nach 1,5h Zustieg, den Versuch abgebrochen, da wir das beschriebene Stahlseil und den "bösen" Tritt nicht gefunden haben. Die Empfehlung aus der Descente Begehung vom 01.07.2025 wurde erst im Nachhinein gelesen. Zustiegsbeschreibung wird um eine nicht selbst verifizierte Variante ergänzt.

After 1.5 hours of access, we abandoned the attempt because we couldn't find the steel cable described or the "tricky" foothold. We didn’t read the recommendation from the Descente report dated July 1, 2025, until afterward. The approach description has been updated to include a variant that we haven’t verified ourselves.

The weather was perfect, and everything was great.

Alle drei Abschnitte begangen. Da wird nur ein Fahrzeug zur Verfügung hatten, sind wir mit Bus von Dafins Wanne (Ausstieg Parkplatz unterer Abschnitt) bis Dafins Morsch gefahren. Von der Bushaltestelle haben wir anschließend 15min. bis zum Einstieg gebraucht. Die Schlucht als ganzes fast schon erschreckend griffig, bis auf einzelne, natürlich, prädestiniert Stelle. Die Anker etwas älter, aber ausreichend und fürs Alter verhältnismäßig gut in Schuss. Vereinzelte leicht rostig wie auch schon in einer vorheriger Begehung beschrieben.

We hiked all three parts. Since we only had one vehicle available, we took the bus from Dafins Wanne (exit at the lower part parking lot) to Dafins Morsch. From the bus stop, it took us 15 minutes to reach the entry. The canyon as a whole offers almost frighteningly good grip, except for a few—naturally—predestined spots. The anchors are a bit older, but sufficient and in relatively good condition considering their age. A few are slightly rusty, as already described in a previous ascent.

Auch der mittlere Abschnitt ist erschreckend griffig. Wir konnten heute die Latscherrei gemütlich in knapp unter 1h machen. Bis auf zwei Verklausungen ist das Bachbett komplett frei. Anker in gutem Zustand. Insgesamt eine lohnenswerte Tour

The middle part also offers surprisingly good footing. We were able to complete the Latscherrei at a leisurely pace in just under an hour today. Except for two log jams, the streambed is completely clear. Anchors are in good condition. All in all, a worthwhile hike
