DC-. Very short, especially since part of the first section is closed due to the risk of rockfalls. A commercial canyon, perfect for beginners and children. The last section, however, is fun, with small jumps and slides. We completed the tour in 1 hour.

Barrage d'eau vide. Filet d'eau. Eau stagnante jusqu'au début de la partie sombre (encore acceptable mais commence à sentir). Tous les sauts sont possibles. Magnifique canyon malgré le faible niveau d'eau. A savoir qu'il y a un feu (vert/rouge) à la centrale en bas du canyon, qui indique si la pratique du canyoning est OK ou non.

Empty water dam. A trickle of water. Stagnant water up to the start of the dark section (still acceptable but starting to smell). All jumps are possible. A magnificent canyon despite the low water level. Note that there is a light (green/red) at the power plant at the bottom of the canyon, which indicates whether canyoning is permitted or not.

DC- . Tous les sauts possibles, mais pas beaucoup de fond (il faut toujours bien amortir). Mains courantes en place. 1h50 la boucle.

DC- . All possible jumps, but not much depth (you always have to land softly). Handrails in place. 1 hour 50 minutes per lap.

Yesterday, during the descent of the Rotalbar canyon, we encountered a major rockfall in the middle section. The former route that required a climb on the left no longer exists: it is now possible to pass directly on the left without climbing. The area is still very unstable at the moment. We therefore took the left bank and made a short downclimb to an anchor located at a safe distance from the debris to prevent it from being damaged too quickly. All other anchors are in good condition. We added a quick link at the spot where there was an old stuck rope (rope removed) so that the quick link now works properly. The water flow was high yesterday, and we’d like to highlight two caution points: 1. Just before the final section: last escape route on the left during the approach walk, there is a tricky spot where water runs under a rock, creating a small siphon. It’s best to stay on the bank as much as possible. 2. The logs are still there, but they don’t pose much of an issue. Despite these changes, the canyon remains beautiful and fully enjoyable. Photos of the rockfall will be added to this report.
