Am Ortsausgang von Ribeira Brava in Fahrtrichtung Sao Vicente den vor dem Tunnel den Abzweig zum Gewerbegebiet (Continente Supermarkt) nehmen. Ein PKW auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen abstellen (bitte nicht auf dem Parkplatz des Supermarktes). Der Schlusswasserfall ist vom Parkplatz aus zu sehen. Mit dem zweiten PKW über Campanario Richtung Sao Paulo fahren. In Estr. da Eira do Neto parken.

On leaving Ribeira Brava in the direction of Sao Vicente, take the turn-off to the commercial area (Continente supermarket) before the tunnel. Park your car in the public parking lot (please do not park in the supermarket parking lot). The final waterfall can be seen from the parking lot. Take the second car via Campanario in the direction of Sao Paulo. Park in Estr. da Eira do Neto.

Ein kurzer einfacher Wanderweg Richtung Ribeira Brava führt von Estr. da Eira do Neto hinab zum Canyon. Alternativ den Wanderweg Bergauf von Ribeira Brava Richtung Estr. da Eira do Neto bis zur Brücke über den Ribeira Funda folgen. Der Weg nach oben steil aber gut ausgebaut.

A short, easy hiking trail in the direction of Ribeira Brava leads from Estr. da Eira do Neto down to the canyon. Alternatively, follow the hiking trail uphill from Ribeira Brava in the direction of Estr. da Eira do Neto to the bridge over the Ribeira Funda. The path to the top is steep but well developed.

Zustieg von der Brücke. Der Canyon insbesondere am Anfang stellenweise stark zugewachsen. Höhepunkt ist der vom Parkplatz des Supermarktes aus zu sehende Schlusswasserfall, der in zwei Etappen abgeseilt wird. Unbedingt immer bis zum nächsten Anker am Seil bleiben! Der Canyon ist (Stand Anfang 2024) nicht optimal eingerichtet. Teilweis sind die nächsten Ankerpunkte nicht erreichbar, wenn man das Seil zu früh abzieht!

Access from the bridge. The canyon is heavily overgrown in places, especially at the beginning. The highlight is the final waterfall, which can be seen from the supermarket parking lot and is rappelled in two stages. Always stay on the ropes until the next anchor! The canyon is not optimally equipped (as of early 2024). Some of the next anchor points cannot be reached if you pull off the rope too early!

Dem Bach folgen, bis der in den Fluss Mündet. Den Fluss kreuzen und die Leiter hinauf zum Parkplatz des Baumarktes nehmen.

Follow the stream until it flows into the river. Cross the river and take the ladder up to the parking lot of the DIY store.
