Auf der GC_1 von Maspalomas nach Arguineguin. Nachdem man die GC_1 dort verlassen hat und auf das Zentrum von Arguineguin zufährt, wechselt man bei der nächsten Abfahrt auf die Ostseite des Tales und fährt auf der GC_505 im Tal des Barranco Arguineguin nordwärts und hinauf nach Soria (670 m ü.NN).Durch Soria hindurch und auf dem geteerten Sträßchen weiter ca. 1,5 km leicht bergab, bis die Straße das Bachbett des Bco. quert. Oberhalb der Straße der Kessel mit dem zweiten hohen Abseiler. Hier stellt man das Auto ab.Auch eine Autoumsetzung ist möglich. Entweder über eine Piste (für normale PKWs gerade noch fahrbar), die in Verlängerung unserer Zufahrtsstraße hinaufführt auf die GC_605, oder zurück über Soria und hinauf zur Embalse de Cueva de las Niñas, an deren Nordwesthang entlang, bis man am Ende des Stausees die Straßenkreuzung erreicht (970 m ü.NN), wo man auf der mit Barriere gesperrten Teerstraße die Staumauer anlaufen kann (vgl. Internetfundstelle 'gpswandern')

On the GC_1 from Maspalomas to Arguineguin. After leaving the GC_1 there and driving towards the center of Arguineguin, change at the next exit to the east side of the valley and drive on the GC_505 in the valley of the Barranco Arguineguin northward and up to Soria (670 m a.s.l.).Through Soria and on the tarred little road further about 1.5 km slightly downhill until the road crosses the streambed of the Bco. Above the road the basin with the second high rappel. Here you can leave your car and shuttle to the other side. Either over a slope (for normal cars just still drivable), which leads in extension of our access road up to the GC_605, or back over Soria and up to the Embalse de Cueva de las Niñas, along its northwest slope, until one reaches the road junction at the exit of the reservoir (970 m a.s.l.), where one can approach the dam wall on the tarred road closed with barrier (cf. Internet finding place 'gpswandern').

Vom Auto auf der Teerstraße wieder zurück und nach etwa 300 m rechts ab auf den in spitzem Winkel einmündenden Feldweg. Auf diesem rund 20 Min. aufwärts erreicht man den großen Kessel, quert diesen und sucht auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite nach dem weiteren Verlauf des Wanderwegs. Nachdem man die Felswände passiert hat, zieht der Pfad hinauf in Richtung Bergrücken. Er erreicht die Teerstraße (Wegweiser in Gegenrichtung 'Soria'). Auf dieser links in südlicher Richtung kommt man in guten 20 Min. zu den Häusern an der Staumauer (vgl. Internetfundstelle 'gpswandern').Vor den Häusern an der Staumauer südwärts hinunter zum Barranco, aber nicht sofort hinein, sondern etwa 10-20 m oberhalb des Baches entlang, später auf einer Wasserleitung, bis man - möglichst spät - ins Bachbett absteigen kann.

Return from the car on the tarred road and after about 300 m turn right onto the dirt road that joins at an acute angle. Follow this uphill for around 20 minutes until you reach the large basin, cross it and look for the rest of the hiking trail on the opposite side. After passing the rock faces, the path heads up towards the ridge. It reaches the tarred road (signpost in the opposite direction 'Soria'). Follow this road to the left in a southerly direction for a good 20 minutes until you reach the houses at the dam wall (see 'gpswandern' internet location). Before the houses at the dam wall, descend southwards to the Barranco, but do not enter immediately, but continue along the stream for about 10-20 m above the stream, later on a water pipe, until you can descend - as late as possible - into the streambed.

Zuerst "Kindercanyon", dann Abfolge einiger (6) teils hoher Abseiler in einen großen Felsenkessel. Im oberen Kessel kann man entweder orograf. links abseilen (70 m bis zum kleinen Gumpen, dann 25 m bis zum großen Gumpen, 12 m nach dem großen Gumpen) oder rechts (geschätzte 50 m bis zum Zwischenstand auf dem Band und von da geschätzte 45 m bis in den großen Gumpen).Der untere Kessel hat eine Höhe von 70 m und kann nach etwa 20m gebrochen werden, wird aber weg. der Exponiertheit des Zwischenstandes nicht Jedermanns Sache sein. Der große Gumpen kann je nach Wasserdurchsatz zur Marmita Trampa werden (Abfluß unter der Wasseroberfläche!), aus der man beim Herausklettern dann große Probleme haben wird.

First "children's canyon", then a sequence of several (6) partly high rappels into a large rock cauldron. In the upper cauldron you can either rappel orographic left (70 m to the small pool, then 25 m to the large pool, 12 m after the large pool) or right (estimated 50 m to the intermediate belay on the ledge and from there an estimated 45 m to the large pool) The lower cauldron has a height of 70 m and can be broken after about 20 m, but will not be everyone's cup of tea due to the exposed nature of the intermediate belay. Depending on the water flow, the large pool can become a Marmita Trampa (drainage below the water surface!), from which you will have great problems when climbing out.
