Fahren Sie vom Anfang (Näfels) bis zum Ende des Linthtals. Dort biegen Sie links ab und fahren bis zum äußersten Ende von Tierfehd, wo sich ein großer Parkplatz befindet. Rufen Sie den Taxiservice einen Tag im Voraus unter +41 79 426 27 15 an. Die Fahrt nach Hintersand kostet 15 CHF (einfache Fahrt). Wenn Sie ein Fahrrad dabei haben, ist es sehr praktisch, nach der Schlucht mit dem Fahrrad hinunterzufahren.

Drive from the beginning (Näfels) to the end of the Linth Valley. There, turn left and drive to the very end of Tierfehd, where you’ll find a large parking lot. Call the taxi service one day in advance at +41 79 426 27 15. The ride to Hintersand costs 15 CHF (one way). If you have a bike with you, it’s very convenient to ride down through the canyon afterward.

In Hintersand wandern Sie auf dem sehr guten Weg etwa 1 Stunde lang und über 560 Höhenmeter hinauf nach Obersand/Planurahütte. Auf 1.870 m Höhe kreuzen Sie mit dem Wanderweg direkt den Beginn der Schlucht.

If you’re not taking the Alpentaxi, you’ll need to start in Tierfehd and hike all the way up toward Hintersand on a very well-maintained trail. This takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. In Hintersand, you’ll hike along the well-maintained trail for about 1 hour, climbing over 560 meters in elevation to Obersand/Planurahütte. At an elevation of 1,870 meters, the hiking trail takes you directly to the start of the canyon.

Gehen Sie 5 Minuten flussabwärts, biegen Sie dann nach rechts ab und schließen Sie wieder an den Wanderweg an.

Walk 5 minutes downstream, then turn right and rejoin the hiking trail.

Achtung im Sommer wird die Sandklappe öfter geöffnet. (Gegen Herbst/Winter weniger). Ein öffnen ist jederzeit möglich. Überprüfen Sie den Wasserfluss, der in die Wasserauffangvorrichtung gelangt.
