Von Torbole fährt man auf der „SS45bis“ durch Riva und Limone, bis „Prato della Fama“. Mit dem 2. PKW fährt man weiter durch den langen Tunnel und zweigt re Richtung Tignale ab. Ab hier folgt man ca. 5Km der Bergstraße die dann auf eine Brücke trifft (Ausstieg Vione 1 bzw. Einstieg Vione 2). Das Auto wird etwas unterhalb der Brücke in einer großen Bucht geparkt. (oder noch etwas weiter unten auf dem großen Parkplatz, wenn man den kommerziellen einen Gefallen tun möchte). Mit dem anderen Fahrzeug weitere 4,2 km hinauf, bis links die Straße nach Gardola abzweigt. Durch Gordola und am nördlichen Ortsausgang links die Via Panoramica in Richtung Aer (571 m ü.NN), an dieser Ortschaft rechts vorbei bis zum Ende der Teerstraße (Via Castegneto). Hier das zweite Fahrzeug abstellen. Alternativ kann man auch in Piovere parken

From Torbole, take the "SS45bis" through Riva and Limone to "Prato della Fama". Take the 2nd car through the long tunnel and turn right towards Tignale. From here, follow the mountain road for approx. 5 km, which then meets a bridge (exit Vione 1 or entry Vione 2). The car is parked a little below the bridge in a large bay. (or a little further down in the large parking lot if you want to do the commercials a favor). With the other vehicle, continue uphill for another 4.2 km until the road to Gardola branches off to the left. Drive through Gordola and at the northern end of the village turn left onto Via Panoramica towards Aer (571 m above sea level), pass this village on the right until you reach the exit of the tarred road (Via Castegneto). Park the second vehicle here. Alternatively, you can also park in Piovere

Der Straße folgen bis bei einer Brücke auf ca. 600Hm bequem in den Bach eingestiegen werden kann. Alternativ Einstieg in den unteren Teil des Vione Superiore Valle di Bornico den Wanderweg 265 am Ende der Via Resem nehmen. Diesem folgen bis zur eine Abzweigung im Wald. Möchte man bei der Hälfte von Vione 1 einstiegen, so folgt man den Weg links zum Bach hinunter. (Wenig Empfehlenswert, da im Bach gut voranzukommen ist und so der Einstieg von der Brücke zeitsparender ist)

Follow the road until you can comfortably enter the stream at a bridge at about 600Hm. Alternatively, take the entry to the lower part of the Vione Superiore Valle di Bornico along trail 265 at the exit of Via Resem. Follow it until you reach a fork in the woods. If you want to enter at the half of Vione 1, follow the path on the left down to the stream. (Not recommended, because it is easier to go down the stream and the entry from the bridge is more time-saving).

Am Bach angekommen geht es gleich los mit den ersten kl. Abseilstellen die im Normalfall keine großen Probleme darstellen. Die Abseiler sind immer gut einsehbar und die Gumpen unproblematisch. Durch den offenen Schluchtenverlauf hat man immer ein sicheres Gefühl. Das kann sich aber bei Schlechtwetter wegen dem großen Einzugsgebiet schnell ändern. Einige Gumpen können nach Kontrolle der Tiefe auch gesprungen werden. Im Mittelteil der Vione 1 kommt man auf den Wanderweg der über den Bach führt (Notausstieg). Ab hier beginnt der 2. Teil von der Vione 1. Der Abstieg führt über eine schräge Felsplatte zur 20m Abseilstelle (Bohrhaken für Seilgeländer vorhanden). Darauf eine 15m Abseiler (evtl. Sprung in tiefen Gumpen). Nach kurzer Gehstrecke kommt eine rutschige Felsplatte. Hier kann man durch ein kleines Loch ca. 5m durch die Felsen abklettern. Nächster Abseiler ca. 10m. Li. lange Aushöhlung mit Fixseil (Achtung sehr glatt!). Li. ca. 15m abseilen oder 8m Springen. Jetzt kommt die höchste Abseilstelle mit 45m (re. guter Stand) (li. gibt es auch einen Stand, jedoch nicht optimale Seilführung). Unterhalb der Abseilstelle befindet sich ein großes Becken. Danach geht es über rutschige Stellen bis zu einige kl. Rutschen. Es geht eher flach weiter bis zu Brücke (Ausstieg). Nach der Brücke beginnt das Valle die Piovere (Vione 2). Will man den unteren Teil gehen bleibt man am Besten für ca. 150m aber der Straße, bei einer Parkbucht führt ein Trampelpfad wieder zum Bach.

Once you arrive at the stream, you immediately start with the first small abseils, which normally don't pose any major problems. The rappels are always easy to see and the pools are unproblematic. The open course of the gorge means that you always feel safe. However, this can quickly change in bad weather due to the large catchment area. Some pools can also be jumped after checking the depth. In the middle section of Vione 1, you come to the hiking trail that leads over the stream (emergency exit). From here, the 2nd part of Vione 1 begins. The descent leads over a sloping rock slab to the 20m abseil point (bolts for rope traverses available). This is followed by a 15m rappel (possibly jump into deep pools). After a short walking passages there is a slippery rock slab. Here you can downclimb through a small hole approx. 5m through the rocks. Next rappel approx. 10m. Left long hollow with fixed ropes (be careful, very slippery!). Left rappel approx. 15m or jump 8m. Now comes the highest abseil point at 45m (good belay on the right) (there is also a belay on the left, but not optimal rope guidance). There is a large pool below the abseiling point. Then it goes over slippery spots up to some small slides. It continues rather flat to the bridge (exit). After the bridge, the Valle dei Piovere (Vione 2) begins. If you want to walk the lower part, it is best to stay on the road for about 150m, but at a parking bay a trail leads back to the stream.

Ausstieg direkt an der Brücke (Überstellungsfahrzeug) oder in ca. 30 min zu Fuß zum Einstiegsparkplatz. Park man in Piovere ist man in 15min wieder beim Auto

Exit directly at the bridge (shuttle car) or walk to the parking entry in approx. 30 min. If you park in Piovere, you can be back at your car in 15 minutes
