Vom Campingplatz "Varades" folgen wir 1,35 km in westlicher Richtung, dann biegen wir links ab auf die Piste, die uns in südlicher Richtung zum Holy Monastery of Christ führt. Wir stellen unser Auto unter einem schattigen Baum vor der mit Gitterstäben umgebenen und verschlossenen Kapelle ab - Eintritt nur nach vorheriger Absprache.

From the "Varades" campsite, we follow the road west for 1.35 km, then turn left onto the dirt road that leads us south to the Holy Monastery of Christ. We park our car under a shady tree in front of the locked chapel, which is surrounded by bars - entry by prior arrangement only.

Wir folgen der Piste über zwei Serpentinen weiter aufwärts. An der 3. (Rechts-)Serpentinene verlassen wir die Piste nach links und folgen der Spur, Die am orograf. li. Ufer des Baches in etwa eben annähernd 100 m entlang führt. Dann quert der Pfad den Bach, danach geht es weiter am orograf. re. Hang über dem Bach etwa 25 Höhenmeter steil aufwärts. Auf der Kuppe angekommen sehen wir wieder den Bachlauf und suchen uns hier einen geeigneten Zustieg.

We follow the slope over two hairpin bends further uphill. At the 3rd (right-hand) hairpin bend, we leave the piste to the left and follow the tracks that run along the orographic left bank of the stream for about 100 meters. Then the path crosses the stream, after which it continues on the orographic right slope above the stream for about 25 meters steeply uphill. When we reach the crest, we can see the stream again and look for a suitable access point.

Nach einer kurzen Wegstrecke durch die Blöcke im Bachbett kommen wir zum ersten Abseiler.Der Canyon verengt sich hier, wird ab unmittelbar danach wieder offener und bleibt so bis zum Ende. Einfache und kurze Abseiler führen uns sukzessive in einer Reihe kleinerer Gumpen. Die Tour wird abgeschlossen von zwei Abseilern mit jeweils etwa 30m Länge. Dann stehen wir im Schlußgumpen.

After a short section through the boulders in the streambed, we come to the first rappel, where the canyon narrows, then immediately opens up again and stays that way until the exit. Simple and short rappels lead us successively into a series of smaller pools. The tour ends with two rappels, each about 30m long. Then we stand in the final pit.

Nach dem Schlußgumpen den blauen Punkten und einigen Steinmännchen folgend li. hinauf zur Piste, die wir etwa dort erreichen, wo wir von der Pista aus unseren Zustieg gestartet haben. Nun auf der Piste wenige Meter abwärts zur Kapelle.

After the final pump, follow the blue dots and some cairns to the left up to the piste, which we reach roughly where we started our access from the pista. Now descend a few meters on the slope to the chapel.

Anfang Juni wenig Wasserdurchsatz, aber ausreichend.

Little water flow at the beginning of June, but sufficient.
