Von Chiusaforte fährt man in das Raccolanatal. Ca. 1,2Km nach der Brücke in Raccolana kommt auf der rechten Seite ein großer Schotterparkplatz und kurz darauf links das Kraftwerksgelände mit Parkmöglichkeiten (etwas weiter oben, direkt beim Ausstieg hat nur 1 PKW Platz).

From Chiusaforte you drive into the Raccolana valley. Approx. 1,2Km after the bridge in Raccolana there is a big gravel parking place on the right side and shortly after on the left side the power plant area with parking possibilities (a bit further up, directly at the exit there is only space for 1 car).

Vom Parkplatz folgt man der Straße weiter hinauf bis zum Bach mit dem kleinen Betonhäuschen im Bachbett. Hier kann die Wassermenge beurteilt werden. Weiters folgt man den sehr steilen und unscheinbaren Weg (Pfad) auf der orographisch linken Seite, durch den Wald. Nach ca. 20min und einigen Hm steht man direkt im Bach. Einstieg auf 600m). Will man den oberen Teil probieren rechts aufwärts. Bei einer kleinen Wildfütterung links ins Tal des Rio Rivis queren (ausgesetzt). Man erreicht den Talboden durch 2xAbseilen (1 Abseilstelle ist ein enger Spalt) - Siehe Links + Video

From the parking lot, follow the road further up to the streambed with the small concrete house. Here you can judge the amount of water. Die Rivis ist eine lohnenswerte offene, nicht all zu schwierige Kalkschlucht die in 2015 neu eingerichtet wurde. Alternativ zu den Standplätze können einige Stufen außerhalb der Wasserführung von Baumschlingen abgeseilt werden.Die Schlucht ist eine gute Alternative wenn andere Schluchten zu viel Wasser führen oder einfach als Halbtagestour. Gleich zu Anfang kommt eine Engstelle mit einem Klemmblock unter dem man sich abseilt. Danach folgen mehrere Abseilstellen kurz aufeinander. An der höchsten Stelle von ca. 40m befindet sich der Stand auf der rechten Seite. Weiters folgen noch 2 Abseilstellen (25 und 15m) bevor man über die letzen Felsstufen absteigt. Im flachen Bachbett erreicht man in kürze das Betonhäuschen und die Brücke (440m).

The Rivis is a worthwhile open, not al too difficult lime canyon that was newly established in 2015. Alternatively to the belay stations, some steps can be rappelled outside the water flow of tree loops.The canyon is a good alternative when other canyons have too much water or simply as a half-day tour. Right at the beginning there is a narrow passage with a clamping block under which you rappel. After that, several abseils follow each other shortly. Gleich li vor der Brücke ausstiegen. Je nach Parkmöglichkeit zum Kraftwerkshäuschen oder Schotterparkplatz zurück gehen.
