Wir verlassen die A 2 über die Ausfahrt Bellinzona-Süd in Richtung Bellinzona (Norden).Nach 1,6 km kommen wir auf die Piazza Grande in der Ortsmitte von Gubiasco. Von hier geht es in östlicher Richtung die Via Morobbia hinauf nach Pianezzo (2,8 km). Am Ortsanfang, noch vor der 90 Grad - Linkskurve geht rechts die Via Campagna weg. 200m weiter - nach der Linkskurve - stellen wir das untere Auto ab. Mit dem zweiten fahren wir zurück zur Hauptstraße und 3,8 km weiter aufwärts Richtung Vellano. Von der 4.Linksserpentine (Höhe 740 m üNN) - noch vor Erreichen der Ortschaft Vellano - zweigt rechts ein kleines Sträßchen ab, das hinunterführt zum Stausee (640 m üNN). Hier finden sich auch Abstellflächen für das obere Fahrzeug.
We leave the A2 at the Bellinzona South exit in the direction of Bellinzona (north).after 1.6 km we arrive at Piazza Grande in the center of Gubiasco. From here, head east up Via Morobbia to Pianezzo (2.8 km). At the beginning of the village, before the 90 degree bend to the left, Via Campagna leaves to the right. 200m further - after the left turn - we park the lower car. \With the second one we go back to the main road and 3,8 km further up towards Vellano. From the 4th left-hand bend (altitude 740 m above sea level) - before reaching the village of Vellano - a small road branches off to the right, leading down to the reservoir (640 m above sea level). Here you will also find parking areas for the upper vehicle.

Von hier hinunter zu der Brücke unterhalb der Staumauer. Hier einsteigen oder irgendwo auf den nächsten 300 m von dem Fußweg, der am Ufer der Morobbia entlang führt.
From here down to the bridge below the dam. Get on here or anywhere on the next 300 m from the footpath that runs along the banks of the Morobbia.

Flusswanderung mit vielen Gumpen und ziemlich am Ende der einzige (Doppel-) Abseiler. Bei einer Begehung Mitte Juli 2009 hat beim 15m- Abseiler die Schraube samt Lasche gefehlt (wohl durch Wasserdurchsatz herausgedreht). Da der Canyon offenbar nicht mehr kommerziell begangen wird, entsprechende Vorsorge für derartige Überraschungen treffen!
River walk with many pools and quite at the exit the only (double) rappel. During an ascent in mid-July 2009, the 15m rappel was missing the screw and the lug (probably twisted out by water flow). Since the canyon is apparently no longer used commercially, take appropriate precautions for such surprises!
