Von Imst auf der B189 in Richtung Fernpass vorbei am Weiler Dollinger bis zu dem Gewerbegebiet an der Miemingerstraße Hausnummer 60 (6,5 km ab dem Kreisverkehr am Nordostende von Imst - siehe Anfahrtsskizze in der Fotogalerie).Hier stellen wir rechts der Straße unser Auto an geeigneter Stelle ab. Mit einem zweiten Auto fahren wir auf der Bundesstraße zurück Richtung Imst, wo wir in Tarrenz rechts hinauf abbiegen und Obtarrenz ansteuern. Weiter geht es bergauf zum Kappa-Kreuz (Wegweiser "Peregreithalm - Sinnesbrunn"). Nach einer Umsetzungsstrecke von 9,4 km - die letzten Kilometer auf ungeteerter Forststraße - kommen wir zum Klammenbachl (siehe Umsetzung in Fotogalerie).

From Imst on the B189 in the direction of Fernpass past the hamlet of Dollinger to the industrial estate at Miemingerstraße house number 60 (6.5 km from the traffic circle at the north-eastern end of Imst - see directions in the photo gallery), where we park our car in a suitable place to the right of the road. With a second car, we drive back along the main road towards Imst, where we turn right uphill in Tarrenz and head for Obtarrenz. We continue uphill to the Kappa cross (signpost "Peregreithalm - Sinnesbrunn"). After a conversion distance of 9.4 km - the last kilometers on unpaved forest road - we come to Klammenbachl (see conversion in photo gallery).

Am Bach entlang, ggf. auch schon im Bach, geht es abwärts bis zum ersten Abseiler. Ein Zustieg ohne Autoumsetzung ist im Buch von Riml/Amor beschrieben (siehe auch Kartenausschnitt in der Fotogalerie).

Along the stream, possibly already in the stream, the route descends to the first rappel. An access without shuttle is described in the book by Riml/Amor (see also map section in the photo gallery).

Zunächst relativ offenes Bachbett. Auf etwa 1200m Höhe kreuzt ein Forstweg den Bach. Hier kann vor dem alpineren Abschnitt zu- bzw. ausgestiegen werden (auf dem Weg nach rechts kommt man nach Obtarrenz). Es folgt der 2. Abschnitt mit rund 25 weiteren Abseilern, teilweise in einem stark eingeschnittenen Bachbett.

Initially a relatively open streambed. At an altitude of around 1200m, a forest path crosses the stream. Here you can get on or off before the more alpine parts (the path to the right takes you to Obtarrenz). This is followed by the 2nd part with around 25 more rappels, partly in a heavily incised streambed.
