Mit der Diegisbalm Selbstbedienungsseilbahn bis zur Mittelstation (erster Halt) fahren. Von dort zu Fuß der Straße nach rechts folgen um die erste Spitzkehre und dem Weg weiter aufwärts folgen. An einer scharfen Rechtskurze die Straße verlassen auf dem markierten Wanderpfad steil bergan in Richtung Diegisbalm Oberalp. Der Weg geht Steil, einmal flach, dann wieder Steil, dann flach, wenn der Weg wieder nach rechts abknickt und steil bergan geht, geradeaus weiter dem Pfand folgen bis zum Bach. Von einem Baum in die Schlucht Einseilen.

Take the Diegisbalm self-service cable car to the middle station (first stop). From there, follow the road on foot to the right around the first hairpin bend and follow the path further uphill. Leave the road at a sharp right-hand bend and follow the marked hiking trail steeply uphill towards Diegisbalm Oberalp. The path is steep, then flat, then steep again, then flat, when the path bends to the right again and goes steeply uphill, follow the path straight ahead until you reach the stream. Abseil into the canyon from a tree.

Der obere Abschnitt des Kernalpbachs zeichnet sich durch offene, mittelhohe Abseiler aus. Viel Holz findet sich in der Schlucht. Die Abseiler sind mittelhoch bis ca. 30 m. Eine gute Vorbereitung auf den unteren Teil.

Ausstieg nach links zur Seilbahn auf deutlich sichtbaren Weg den den Bach kreuzt. // zu Fuß den Berg hinab. Alternativ durch den inferiore Teil ins Tal absteigen.

Exit to the left to the cable car on a clearly visible path that crosses the stream // descend the mountain on foot. Alternatively, descend through the inferior part into the valley.

Relativ kleines Einzugsgebiet. Wasserstand ist vom Tal aus schwer absehbar, da das Wasser gefasst wird.

Relatively small catchment area. The water level is difficult to predict from the valley as the water is collected.
