Von Biasca fährt man durch die Ortschaft Iragna --> weiter Richtung Lodrino --> in der Ortschaft Rodaglio biegt man bei der kleinen Kirche re ab und fährt die Bergstraße hoch bis zur ersten Abzweigung --> hier re abbiegen --> die Straße bis zur Ortschaft „Citt“ (Serpentinenkurve) folgen --> Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich vor oder nach der Serpentinenkurve (nicht in der Kurve parken; nur für Einheimische).

From Biasca go through the village of Iragna --> continue towards Lodrino --> in the village of Rodaglio turn right at the little church and go up the mountain road until the first bend --> here turn right --> follow the road until the village of "Citt" (bend in the serpentine) --> parking is before or after the bend in the serpentine (do not park in the bend; only for locals).

Mit dem Auto verkürzt sich der Zustieg auf 20min --> vom Parkplatz geht man zur Serpentinenkurve zurück und weiter den leicht abfallenden Weg durch das Bergdorf „Citt“ --> bei der Wegtafel weiter li Richtung Pön --> nach wenigen Minuten kommt eine weitere Weggabelung --> hier re runter bis zur Steinbrücke --> Einstieg auf ca. 730Hm. Wenn man kein Überstellungsfahrzeug hat kann man den Fußweg von der Ortschaft Iragna nehmen der in ca. 1,5h zum Einstieg hoch führt.

By car the access is shortened to 20min --> from the parking lot you go back to the serpentine curve and continue the slightly sloping path through the mountain village "Citt" --> at the signpost continue to the left in the direction of Pön --> after a few minutes there is another fork --> here right down to the stone bridge --> entry at about 730Hm. If you do not have a shuttle car, you can take the footpath from the village of Iragna, which leads up to the entry in about 1.5 hours.

Die Iragna superiore zählt zu den schönsten Schluchten in Tessin --> der oberen Teil kann gut mit der intermedio kombiniert werden --> den Wasserstand sollte man vor der Begehung der sehr aquatischen Schlucht , unbedingt kontrollieren --> unterhalb der Brücke befindet sich re die erste und höchste Abseilstelle (36m) die direkt im Wasserverlauf, in die atemberaubende Landschaft führt --> technisch anspruchsvolle Abseilstellen wechseln sich mit Sprungstellen und kurzen Gehpassagen ab --> für das sichere erreichen der ausgesetzten Standplätze wird oft ein Seilgeländer benötigt (Bohrhaken sind dafür genügend vorhanden)--> die meisten Sprungstellen erfordern eine gute Sprungtechnik und Kontrolle der Wassertiefe in den Gumpen --> auch die Strömung sollte nicht unterschätzt werden --> an den heikelsten Stellen kann meist außerhalb der Wasserführung abgeseilt werden --> möchte man nur die Iragna superiore gehen, so sucht man auf ca. 510Hm li den Ausstieg über die Böschung (offener Schluchtabschnitt vor der nächsten Felswand und Abkletterstelle) --> in den meisten Fällen wird jedoch die Iragna intermedio gleich mitgemacht (kurzer Teil) --> entscheidet man sich auch noch für einen Teil oder der ganzen Iragna inferiore, sollten Zeit und Ausrüstung berücksichtigt werden!

The Iragna superiore is one of the most beautiful canyons in Ticino --> the upper part can be well combined with the intermedio --> the water level should be checked before the very aquatic canyon, absolutely --> below the bridge is r the first and highest abseil (36m) which leads directly in the water course, into the breathtaking scenic landscape --> technically demanding rappels alternate with jumps and short walking passages --> a rope traverse is often needed to safely reach the exposed belay stations (there are plenty of pitons for this purpose)--> most of the jumps require a good jumping technique and control of the water depth in the pools --> the current should not be underestimated --> at the trickiest points, it is usually possible to rappel outside of the water flow --> if you only want to walk the Iragna superiore, look for the exit at approx. 510Hm left the exit over the slope (open canyon section before the next rock face and downclimb) --> in most cases, however, the Iragna intermedio is done at the same time (short part) --> if you also decide for a part or the whole Iragna inferiore, time and equipment should be considered!

Am Ende der „superiore“ auf 510Hm li den Ausstieg über die Böschung (offener Schluchtabschnitt vor der nächsten Felswand und Abkletterstelle) auf den Wanderweg. Diesem ins Tal folgen.
