Ein Fahrzeug stellt man am Kaiserhaus an der Brandenberger Ache (unterhalb der Kaiserklamm) ab. Dorthin kommt man von Kramsach zuerst Richtung Sonnwendjoch-Sessellift fahrend, von dem Parkplatz der Talstation dann am orografisch rechten Ufer entlang der Brandenberger Ache in Richtung Aschau. Nach dem Ortschild von Aschau fährt man nicht in den Ort hinein, sondern rechts abbiegend weiter die Brandenberger Ache aufwärts, bis man den großen Parkplatz beim Kaiserhaus erreicht (14,5 km ab Kramsach, siehe auch Anfahrt in Fotogalerie bei Cwiki). Hier stellen wir das Auto ab.
Park your car at the Kaiserhaus on the Brandenberger Ache (below the Kaiserklamm gorge). You get there from Kramsach first in the direction of the Sonnwendjoch chairlift, then from the parking lot of the valley station along the orographic right bank of the Brandenberger Ache in the direction of Aschau. After the village sign of Aschau, do not drive into the village, but turn right and continue up the Brandenberger Ache until you reach the large parking lot at the Kaiserhaus (14.5 km from Kramsach, see also the approach in the photo gallery on Cwiki). We park the car here.

Wir laufen auf der Straße weiter bis zur Brücke über die Brandenberger Ache (am unteren Ende der Kaiserklamm). Einige Meter jenseits der Brücke geht links ein Steig weg, der uns hinauf führt zu einer Forststraße. Auf dieser 450m rechts (östliche Richtung) kommen wir auf eine andere Piste. Diese nun links (Westen) und dann in nördlicher Richtung. Die Abzweigungen zur Brandalm (links) und zur Breitenbachalm (rechts) ignorieren wir, queren den Breitenbach. Einige hundert Meter weiter knickt der Forstweg in Richtung ONO und läuft auf den Eilegger Graben zu. Unten an einer Jagdhütte vorbei kommen wir zur Brücke (Einstieg).
We walk along the road to the bridge over the Brandenberger Ache (at the lower exit of the Kaiserklamm gorge). A few meters beyond the bridge, a path leads off to the left, which takes us up to a forest road. On this 450m to the right (east) we come to another slope. Turn left (west) and then head north. We ignore the turn-offs to the Brandalm (left) and the Breitenbachalm (right) and cross the Breitenbach. A few hundred meters further on, the forest path bends in an easterly direction and walks towards the Eilegger ditch. At the bottom, past a hunting lodge, we come to the bridge (entry).

Zu Beginn viele kleinere Stufen, meist zum Abklettern. Dann der 60m-Schrägabseiler. Anschließend wieder kleinere Abfälle, bis auf etwa 850m Höhe von rechts der Weißgriesgraben einmündet. Danach setzen sich die kleineren Stufen fort, bis sich die Einschluchtung weitet. Bei der Brücke steigen wir auf die Forststraße aus.
At the beginning, many smaller steps, mostly for downclimbing. Then the 60m diagonal rope. Then again smaller drops until, at about 850m, the Weißgriesgraben enters from the right. Then the smaller steps continue until the gorge widens. At the bridge we get off onto the forest road.

Sollte die Brandenburger Ache zu viel Wasser für einer Durchquerung führen, können wir alternativ an deren orograf. rechten Ufer flussauf bis zum Trauersteg gehen und dort den Fluss überqueren.
We now wade across the Brandenburger Ache and follow the path on its orographic right bank through the Kaiserklamm gorge to the parking lot at the Kaiserhaus. If the Brandenburger Ache has too much water for a crossing, we can alternatively go upstream on its orographic right bank to the Trauersteg and cross the river there.
