Zustieg: vom Parkplatz aus folgen Sie den Wegschildern die zum mittelalterlichen Turm (Kröllturm) und nach Ve rano/Vöran führen. Nehmen Sie den Weg nach Vöran, der mittels kleiner Brücke den Bach überquert und steil am orografisch rechten Ufer hinaufführt. Folgen Sie dem Weg durch den Wald, bis Sie einen flacheren Abschnitt mit schönem Blick auf das Etschtal erreichen; kurz darauf treffen Sie auf einen Aussichtspunkt mit Bank und Hol- zkreuz (Höhenmeter ca. 550, Koordinaten 46.590306 11.208284). Hinter dem Kreuz folgen Sie den Wegspur rechts in den Wald; halten Sie die Höhe und gehen in Richtung der Schlucht. Nachdem Sie ein Hanggeröll überwunden haben, soltten Sie auf einen Felsgrat treffen den Sie umgehen müssen. Folgen Sie weiterhin dem Pro canyon-Zeichen, bis Sie die Felsen erreichen, die in en Tiefe führen. Auf einem dieser Felsen leuchtet die Kette des ersten Standplatzes (bei Höhenmeter 600). Von diesem Standplatz aus erreichen Sie mit zwei Abseilstellen von etwa 20 und 45 Metern das Flussbett des Baches
Zustieg insgesamt kompliziert und ausgesetzt.
Access: from the parking lot, follow the signs that lead to the medieval tower (Kröllturm) and to Ve rano/Vöran. Take the path to Vöran, which crosses the stream via a small bridge and climbs steeply up the orographic right bank. Follow the path through the forest until you reach a flatter part with a beautiful view of the Adige Valley; shortly afterwards you will come to a viewpoint with a bench and a wooden cross (altitude difference approx. 550 meters, coordinates 46.590306 11.208284). Behind the cross, follow the path to the right into the forest; keep the altitude and head towards the canyon. After overcoming a scree slope, you should come to a rocky ridge which you must bypass. Continue following the Pro canyon sign until you reach the rocks that lead to the depths. On one of these rocks, the chain of the first belay (at altitude 600 meters) shines. From this belay you reach the riverbed of the stream with two abseils of about 20 and 45 meters

Bemerkungen: falls Sie wenig Zeit haben, können Sie nur den unteren Teil begehen. Vom Ausstiegsparkplatz gehen Sie etwa für 15-20 Minuten auf der orografisch linken Uferseite des Baches entlang, den Schildern zur Rio Eschio-Schlucht ⁃ Aschlbachschlucht sowie zum Turm folgend. Wenn Sie in der Nähe des Turms angekommen sind, nehmen Sie einen kleinen Weg linkerhand, der direkt zum Fuß des gut sichtbaren, höchsten Wasserfalls führt. Ab diesem Punkt wird die Schlucht eng und mit starker Wasserströmung steigen Schwierigkeit und Risiko.
Zwei Notausstiege:
1. nach dem Hufeisen Wasserfall
2. nach dem 45 er, links aufwärts zum Aussichtspunkt
Remarks: if you are short of time, you can only walk the lower part. From the parking exit, walk along the orographic left bank of the stream for about 15-20 minutes, following the signs to the Rio Eschio canyon ⁃ Aschlbachschlucht and the tower. When you get close to the tower, take a small path on the left that leads directly to the foot of the clearly visible, highest waterfall. From this point, the canyon becomes narrow and the difficulty and risk increase with the strong water flow.
Two emergency exits:
1. after the Hufeisen waterfall
2. after the 45 m waterfall, left uphill to the viewpoint

Tolle Schlucht 🤩. Fast nicht rutschig. Kaltes Wasser. Sehr gut ausgerüstet. Dank der blauweissen Markierungen und den "Fähnchen" Zustieg ab dem Kreuz, mit etwas umherschauen, gefunden.

Great canyon 🤩. Almost not slippery. Cold water. Very well equipped. Thanks to the blue and white markings and the "flags" we found the access from the cross with a bit of looking around.

Zustieg gut markiert, bis zum Kreuz ein Wanderweg, danach rechts hoch und leicht zum Einstieg.
Die ersten beiden Abseiler sind der trockene Einstieg in den canyon. Achtung auf Steinschlag bei nachkommenden Gruppen.
Zustieg und canyon nicht so dramatisch empfunden wie beschrieben.
Die meisten haken sind so gebohrt, dass man nicht im Wasserstrahl abseilen muss.
Access is well marked, a hiking trail up to the cross, then up to the right and easy to the entry.
The first two rappels are the dry entry into the canyon. Watch out for falling rocks with following groups.
Access and canyon not as dramatic as described.
Most of the anchors are drilled so that you don't have to rappel in a water jet.

Entrati dall'avvicinamento in riva destra con due calate dalla bastionata di roccia. Molto continuo e qualche bel tuffo possibile. Bella la vista sulla valle e il paese.
Entered from the right bank approach with two rappels from the rock rampart. Very continuous and some nice dips possible. Nice view of the valley and village.
