Von Plaine des Palmistes nehmen wir zunächst die D55, dann das Strässchen in Richtung Bébour-Bélouve. 1,7 km nach dem Abbiegen von der D55 - vor die Straße aus dem Wald austritt und unmittelbar vor der Senke des Bras Noir - fahren wir rechts ab auf einen großen Parkplatz mit Picnic-Häuschen (siehe Google-Skizze bei Fotos).
From Plaine des Palmistes, we first take the D55, then the little road in the direction of Bébour-Bélouve. 1.7 km after turning off the D55 - before the road emerges from the forest and just before the Bras Noir depression - we turn right into a large parking lot with a picnic hut (see Google map in photos).

Nachdem wiir das Bachbett auf der Straße gequert haben, nehmen wir einen unscheinbaren Pfad auf der orograf. linken Seite des Bras Noir. In Niederwald wird er deutlicher. An einem Zaun entlang geht es zunächst nur verhalten aufwärts. Dann folgt der Pfad einem schwarzen Wasserrohr und zieht steil hinauf zu einem Sattel. Etwa 100m weiter klettern wir eine kleine Metallleiter hinab. Wenige Meter weiter zieht eine Sprur links vom Pfad ab und steil hinunter in das Bachbett.
After crossing the streambed on the road, we take an inconspicuous path on the orographic left side of the Bras Noir. It becomes clearer in Niederwald. Along a fence, the ascent is initially gentle. Then the path follows a black water pipe and climbs steeply up to a saddle. About 100m further on, we climb down a small metal ladder. A few meters further on, a rut branches off to the left of the path and descends steeply into the streambed.

Nach dem ersten Abseiler im Gumpen ein Siphon (dreieckige Öffnung im linken Drittel der Felsbarriere - etwa 1m Tauchstrecke, beim Abstieg am 10.11.2017 offen). Auch ein Überklettern der Felsbarriere mittels Fixseils ist möglich.

After the first rappel in the pool, a siphon (triangular opening in the left third of the rock barrier - about 1m diving distance, open on the descent on 10.11.2017). It is also possible to climb over the rock barrier using fixed ropes.

Débit correct les pluies des 3 derniers jours ont remis de l'eau dans le canyon.R2 effectivement éboulis de très grande ampleur avec encore beaucoup de blocs instables en rd et rg+++Le relais a été emporté par l'éboulisLe point + le goujon sans plaquette qui restent en rd sont les points de l'ex mc. NE PAS utiliser ces points , la terrasse à cet endroit est instable et à haut risque d'effondrement dans une zone terrigène très fragileAfin de pouvoir franchir cet obstacle nous avons installé un relais "provisoire" quelques mètre en contrebas vers le milieu , en rg de la veine d'eau (accès par désescalade rg)Ligne à confirmer après le passage d'un prochain cyclone...Attention : frottement et purges à poursuivre...Il y a peut être un risque de coincement (ce qui n'a pas été le cas pour nous) mais il est possible d'escalader facilement depuis R3 jusqu'à la zone à risque de coincement

Ras Tout passe nickel.Concernant le R2 de 30 mètres effectivement un gros glissement de terrain à eu lieu, le relais rd disponible actuellement et sur monopoint électrolysé c'est moyen..., par contre il y a un goujon de 10 inox 316 juste à côté. Pour les prochains donc il serait bien de porter une plaquette et un boulon 10mm inox pour refaire un bon relais.Grand cassé descendue par rive droite

Très joli canyon, tout s'enchaîne bien. Les relais sont en parfait état, cordes fixes en place pour éviter le siphon dans la première vasque.
