Von Solenzara wenige km auf der N198 kommen wir über den Fluss Travo, biegen dann in westlicher Richtung ab auf die D45 In Richtung Chisa und zwar noch vor Erreichen der Flugplatz-Zufahrt zur Rechten. Nach 7,6 km (ab N198), immer am Fluss entlang, queren wir, inzwischen auf der D645, den Travo. 4,2 km weiter fahren wir in einer engen Rechtsschleife über de Ruisseau de Coda Vacca. 1,5 km weiter kommen wir zur Pont de Bura (etwa 2 km vor Erreichen der Ortschaft Chisa). Hier das Auto abstellen.

From Solenzara a few km on the N198 we come across the river Travo, then turn west on the D45 In the direction of Chisa and before reaching the airfield access road on the right. After 7.6 km (from N198), always along the river, we cross the Travo, by now on the D645. 4.2 km further on, we drive in a narrow right loop over de Ruisseau de Coda Vacca. 1.5 km further on we come to Pont de Bura (about 2 km before reaching the village of Chisa). Park the car here.

Zunächst gehen wir auf der Straße auf die Brücke über den Travo zu und zwar in Richtung Chisa. Dann nehmen wir noch vor Erreichen der Brücke den alten Maultierpfad links hinauf (Info-Tafel zur erlaubten und verbotenen Gewässerbenutzung). Nun etwa 50 Min leicht bergauf, dann queren wir den Lama. Noch einmal etwa 45 Min, dann steigen wir nach einem markanten Linksbogen des Pfades weglos rechts hinunter zum Bach. First we walk along the road towards the bridge over the Travo in the direction of Chisa. Then, before reaching the bridge, we take the old mule track up to the left (information board on permitted and prohibited water use). Now about 50 minutes slightly uphill, then we cross the Lama. Another 45 minutes or so, then after a striking left turn of the path we descend pathlessly to the right down to the stream. See google sketch in photos for access.

Siehe Video und Fotos (auch das Lama-Luvana-Video ab 3:40 Min.). Einige Engstellen können umgangen werden. Wiederholt Möglichkeiten, aus dem Canyon auszusteigen (bevorzugt nach rechts). Eine dann anschließende evtl. Suche des Anmarschwegs dürfte beschwerlich sein.

See video and photos (also the Lama Luvana video from 3:40 min.). Some narrows can be bypassed. Repeated opportunities to get out of the canyon (preferably to the right). A then subsequent eventual search of the approach route is likely to be arduous.

Einfachste und erste Möglichkeit eines Ausstiegs (zum Anmarschweg) ergibt sich beim Zusammenfluss mit dem von rechts kommenden Lama (480m alt.). In dessen Bachbett bzw. am Rande etwa 130 Höhenmeter hinauf zum Weg. Die letzte Stufe lässt sich unschwer auf einer Felsrippe bewältigen. Die zweite Möglichkeit eröffnet sich noch vor der ersten Mega-Rutsche mit anschließendem freien Fall über 4m. Hier ist in der IGN-Karte ein Pfad eingezeichnet, der den Bach auf etwa 470m Höhe kreuzt. Fraglich, ob er heute noch erkennbar ist. Auch hier rechts hinauf zum Anmarschweg. Die dritte Ausstiegsmöglichket bietet sich nach der Stufe mit der kernigen Rutsche im oberen Teil. Bachab gehend suchen wir eine geeignete Stelle, um das Bachbett nach rechts zu verlassen (etwa 425m alt.). Dann geht es teilweise über ehedem terrassiertes Gelände durch den "Niederwald" aufwärts, bis wir auf den Anmarschweg treffen. Dieser Anstieg im steilen Westhang hat den wesentlichen Vorteil, dass das Gelände weitgehend frei von Macchia ist (vom Verf. verifiziert). Letzte Ausstiegsmöglichkeit ist dann am Zusammenfluss mit dem Arinella (395m alt.). Auf dessen letzten Metern ebenfalls weglos den Hang in Richtung NNW ziemlich geradlinig hinauf, bis wir auf einen Pfad stoßen, dem wir nach rechts zu einem Weg nach Chisa bringt. Hier gibt es über 140 Höhenmeter Macchia satt und oben angelangt hat man aber wenig später die ersehnte Möglichkeit, sich an der gefassten Fontaine de Petralata zu erfrischen. Im IGN-Guide "Corse" sowie bei http://corse-sauvage.com/canyoning/canyons/lamaluvanaarinella.html wird noch eine weitere Ausstiegsvariante vorgestellt, nämlich am Zusammenfluss von Luvana und Arinella letzteren gegen dessn Fließrichtung aufwärts zu gehen und nach einigen hundert Metern dort rechts (orograf. links) auszusteigen, wo ein unscheinbarer Pfad hinauf führt zur Bergerie de Purcaricciola. Auch dieser Pfad trifft auf den Weg, der - an der Quelle vorbei - nach Chisa führt. Anno 1997 haben wir versucht, diesen Ausstieg zu nehmen, sind aber daran gescheitert, dass schon die erste Stufe im Arinella (von unten gesehen) nicht überwindbar schien.Siehe zu den möglichen Ausstiegspunkten und - Wegen auch Google-Skizze in Fotos.

The easiest and first possibility for an exit (to the approach trail) is at the confluence with the Lama coming from the right (480m old). In its streambed or on the edge about 130 meters up to the path. The last step is easy to negotiate on a rocky rib. The second option opens up before the first mega slide with subsequent free fall over 4m. The IGN map shows a path here that crosses the stream at an altitude of around 470m. It is questionable whether it is still recognizable today. Here too, turn right up to the approach path. The third exit option is after the step with the pithy slide in the upper part. Going downstream, we look for a suitable place to leave the streambed to the right (about 425m old). The trail then climbs partly over formerly terraced terrain through the "Niederwald" until we reach the approach path. This ascent on the steep western slope has the significant advantage that the terrain is largely free of maquis (verified by the author). The last exit point is at the confluence with the Arinella (395m alt.). On its last few meters, also pathless, ascend the slope in a fairly straight line in a NNW direction until you come to a path, which you follow to the right to a path to Chisa. Here, there is more than 140 vertical meters of maquis and, once you reach the top, you have the opportunity to refresh yourself at the Fontaine de Petralata. In the IGN guide "Corse" and at http://corse-sauvage.com/canyoning/canyons/lamaluvanaarinella.html, another exit option is presented: at the confluence of the Luvana and Arinella rivers, walk up the latter against the direction of flow and, after a few hundred meters, get off to the right (orographic. left), where an inconspicuous path leads up to the Bergerie de Purcaricciola. This path also joins the path that leads past the spring to Chisa. In 1997 we tried to take this exit, but failed because the first step in the Arinella (seen from below) seemed insurmountable, see also Google sketch in photos for possible exit points and paths.
