Von Visp im Rhônetal 6,8 km (ab Brücke über die Vispa) Rhône abwärts, dann rechts ab und über die Rhône nach Niedergesteln. Dort auf dem Parkplatz orograf. rechts vom Schluchtausgang des Jolibaches Auto abstellen (siehe auch Google-Luftbild in Fotogalerie).\nAutoumsetzung wäre möglich.
From Visp in the Rhône valley 6.8 km (from the bridge over the Vispa) Rhône down, then turn right and cross the Rhône to Niedergesteln. There on the parking orographic. right of the canyon exit of the Jolibach parking lot (see also Google aerial photo in photo gallery).\nCar transfer would be possible.

Vom Parkplatz in Niedergesteln nehmen wir den Weg am orograf. linken Hang des Jolibachs - vorbei an der Kirche - hinauf zur "Hängebrücke". Von dieser seilen wir in die Schlucht hinunter (16m).
From the parking lot in Niedergesteln we take the path along the orographic left slope of the Jolibach - past the church - up to the "suspension bridge". From this we rope down into the canyon (16m).

Beautiful weather (14 degC) but as expected cold water and no sun except in second part (tunnel).All anchors ok. Some anchors a bit difficult to reach, but well placed. Many rappels in flow, some might become difficult in high flow. C35 doable with 60 m rope (at least , under normal flow conditions).Approach in 45 min. We entered downstream of the short tunnel below the suspension bridge. After the tunnel, follow the path down, keep left, then rappel 12 m from a single anchor where the path ends. It seems that doing so you skip the first 3 descends. Done in 2:30 with 2.
