Die Autobahn A 40 (Genf-Lyon) bei deren Abbiegen in Richtung Paris in Richtung Lyon verlassen. Nun 10 km auf der A 42 Richtung Lyon, um sie über die D 77E zu verlassen. Vor Amberieu (en Bugey) kommt man auf die N 75, fährt auf dieser nach Süden. 9 km weiter fährt man über Rhone und biegt kurz danach in Richtung Osten ab. Am linken Ufer geht es Rhone 5,5 km aufwärts. Hier verlassen wir die N 75 und queren nach Villebois auf der anderen Rhoneseite. Hier parken wir in der Nähe der Kirche.
Leave the A 40 freeway (Geneva-Lyon) when it turns towards Paris in the direction of Lyon. Now 10 km on the A 42 direction Lyon to leave it via the D 77E. Before Amberieu (en Bugey) one comes on the N 75, drives on this to the south. 9 km further one drives over Rhone and turns shortly afterwards in the direction of the east. On the left bank, Rhone goes up for 5.5 km. Here we leave the N 75 and cross to Villebois on the other side of the Rhone. Here we park near the church.

Von der Kirche folgen wir dem Feldweg in nördlicher,später nordöstlicher Richtung bergauf. Wir queren einen anderen Weg und gehen nun auf einem Pfad, bis eine Tafel auf den Canyon Rhéby hinweist. Wir gehen den Pfad weiter, er schwenkt über einen Seitenbach. Weiter über eine Waldlichtung in nördlicher Richtung kommen wir zum Einstieg.
From the church, we follow the dirt road uphill in a northerly, later north-easterly direction. We cross another path and now follow a path until a sign points to the Rhéby canyon. We continue along the path as it swings over a side stream. Continuing north across a clearing in the forest, we reach the entry point.

Nach dem letzten Wasserfall (C9) weist ein Schild ("sortie canyon") links hinaus. Es geht steil hinauf wieder zu dem Weg, auf dem wir gekommen sind und auf diesem rechts hinunter nach Villebois.
After the last waterfall (C9) a sign ("sortie canyon") points out to the left. It goes steeply up again to the path on which we came and on this right down to Villebois.
