Gleichgültig, ob auf der A 26 aus Richtung Alexandria oder auf der A 10 von Genua oder Savona kommend, die A 10 bei der Ausfahrt Voltri verlassen und zunächst auf der SS 1 Aurelia (Via Pra) parallel zur Küste 2,2 km in westlicher Richtung. Unmittelbar vor der Brücke über den Fluss Cerusa biegen wir rechts ab und fahren nordwärts 3,6 km (ab Abzweigung)nach Fabbriche. Von Fabbriche fahren wir dann auf dieser Straße noch 700 m weiter, um dann, nachdem wir unter der A 26 hindurch sind, links abzubiegen in Richtung Sambuco. 240 m geht es jetzt hinunter zur Brücke über den Fluss. Direkt nach der Brücke die Straße nach rechts und in Serpentinen aufwärts in's Tal des Rio Secco. Wir halten uns an der orograf. li. Hangseite und queren 1,7 km nach dieser Brücke nun den Rio Secco. 90 m weiter stellen wir das Auto in einer markanten Linksserpentine ab (hier sieht man sofort die 'ProCanyon'-Infotafel).
Whether coming on the A26 from Alexandria or on the A10 from Genoa or Savona, leave the A10 at the Voltri exit and head west on the SS1 Aurelia (Via Pra) parallel to the coast for 2.2 km. Just before the bridge over the Cerusa river, turn right and go north for 3.6 km (from the junction) to Fabbriche. From Fabbriche we continue on this road for 700 m and then, after passing under the A26, we turn left towards Sambuco. We now descend 240 m to the bridge over the river. Man sollte bei diesem aussichtsreichen Zustieg immer die Markierungspunkte suchen (blauer Punkt auf weißem Rechteck), vor allem dort, wo sich der Pfad im oberen Drittel zwischen den Büschen einige Male verliert.Zusätzlich folg. Infos: Vom Parkplatz den Ausstiegsweg ca. 30m bachaufwärts, dann unterhalb des großen, aber flachen Gumpens den Bach queren und auf deutlichen Spuren hinauf zu einem Feldweg. Diesen nach links, an dem Haus knapp links vorbei über die Wiese und hinauf zu einem Wanderweg. Dieser bringt uns zu den Häusern des Weilers Soggi (455 m ü.NN). Wir wandern durch den Weiler und nehmen dann einen begrasten Feldweg, der fast horizontal in weitem Bogen über die Wiesen (zunächst Richtung NNW) auf den Niederwald zuläuft. Ab hier folgen wir dem Pfad, der in etwa 600 m Höhe auf die Wiesen hinaus und in weitem Bogen, vorbei an einer Ruine, zum Bach führt.

Entweder man steigt direkt nach dem orangefarbigen Eisensteg rechts hinauf zu einer Piste und dann hinunter zum Auto - oder man geht noch etwa 200 m weter, bis am rechten Ufer ein deutlicher Pfad zu erkennen ist. Auf diesem dann bachab zum Auto.
