The Egua stream flows through a wonderful alpine landscape, set among mountain peaks and larch forests. Given its altitude, it is recommended to descend it in summer or late summer, as in spring the water tends to be cold.

From the center of Carcoforo, follow the trail marked "Rifugio Boffalora-Colle d'Egua." It climbs steeply at first, then flattens out as it enters the valley, and you'll come across a beautiful waterfall, which you'll need to cross. A little further on, cut downhill across the meadow, looking for the with sign on a tree, there you can easy go down into the riverbed.

We begin, and the first stretch is a succession of descents no deeper than 20 meters, a few dips, and a bit of walking. After about an hour, we reach the beautiful C30, with a friction run and handrail, beneath a beautiful, very deep pool. We continue walking on the slippery riverbed and return directly to the village.

In this stream, there is a water intake that reduces its flow. The water is often cold.
