By car from Salzburg - Bad Reichenhall - continue in the direction of Lofer. Shortly before the border turn off to Melleck. After about 1.5km, directly along the state border comes a bridge over the Steinbach. Park here at the parking lot next to it.

Approche (1 h 30): traduction alternative ➜

Directly at the parking lot walk the Fortsstraße along the Steinbach. After more than one kilometer, a bridge leads over the Vorderer Steinbach. Follow the hiking trail uphill and after about 500m turn right onto a clear path. This path leads slightly uphill until you reach a fork after about 700m. There you take the right path in the direction of Steinbach Alm. Shortly before the alpine pasture you can descend into the Steinbach.

Just before you get to the bridge of the access, you can get off on the right on a path. From the bridge back to the car.
