Auf der A1 von Florenz kommend bei Orvieto (ca. 140 km ab Florenz) auf die SS79 abbiegen - ein kurzes Stück in Richtung Orvieto, dann ostwärts unter der A 14 durch, dann geradeaus in Richtung Prodo (18 km ab Autobahnausfahrt, kurvenreich). In Prodo Auto vor dem Kastell abstellen. Fragt man im Café am Platz nach, bekommt man den Schlüssel für die stillgelegte Volksschule, in der man sich umziehen kann.
Coming from Florence on the A1, turn onto the SS79 at Orvieto (approx. 140 km from Florence) - a short distance in the direction of Orvieto, then eastwards under the A14, then straight on in the direction of Prodo (18 km from the highway exit, winding). In Prodo, park your car in front of the castle. If you ask at the café in the square, you will be given the key to the disused elementary school where you can change your clothes.

Zwischen dem Kastell und der anschließenden Häuserzeile führt ein schmaler Durchlass (in Nordwestrichtung) auf einen verwachsenen Pfad, der an einem Drahtzaun entlang südwestwärts bergab zieht. Nach Erreichen eines lichten Wäldchens hält man sich links hinunter zum Bach, den man fast direkt beim Einstieg in die Schlucht erreicht.
Between the fort and the adjoining row of houses, a narrow culvert (in a northwesterly direction) leads to an overgrown path that descends southwestward along a wire fence. After reaching a sparse grove, keep left down to the creek, which you reach almost immediately at the canyon entry.

Nachdem sich die Schlucht unterhalb des letzten 7m-Abfalles aufweitet und man ca. 100 m mit Vegetation durchlaufen hat, gelangt man an den letzten langen Gumpen. Von hier kann man wieder Prodo sehen und an dessen Ende kommt von links ein kleiner Seitengraben herunter. Absolut aufpassen, denn diese Stelle ist fast nicht zu erkennen - Nun steigt man diesen Seitengraben einige Meter aufwärts, dann zieht eine Spur rechts aus dem Graben heraus. Dieser folgt man später etwas links haltend in Richtung Stromleitung. Unter dieser führt ein deutlicherer Pfad in Richtung Prodo bergauf, überquert einige Seitenbäche und führt in Serpentinen direkt zur Ortschaft. 2019 war dieser Pfad ausreichend markiert (Weiß-Blaue AIC-Kennzeichnungen und er ist Teil eines markierten Wanderwegs)
Man kann auch noch etwa 1 km weiter am Bach entlang absteigen Richtung Lago di Corbara.
After the canyon widens below the last 7m drop and you have walked through about 100 m of vegetation, you reach the last long pool. From here you can see Prodo again and at its exit a small side ditch comes down from the left. Take absolute care, as this point is almost impossible to see - now you climb up this side ditch for a few meters, then a track emerges from the ditch on the right. Follow this later, keeping slightly to the left, in the direction of the power line. Below this, a clearer path leads uphill towards Prodo, crosses some side streams and leads in serpentines directly to the village. In 2019, this path was sufficiently marked (white-blue AIC markings and it is part of a marked hiking trail)
You can also descend about 1 km further along the stream towards Lago di Corbara.

DC moins équipement ok / fait en solo / une belle successions de vasques et de cascades. Des sections de nages. Une merveille italienne ... Beaucoup de sauts .....
