Entweder von Ventimiglia auf der SS 20 in Richtung Breil-sur-Roya, Tende, Cuneo und nach etwa 12 km, unmittelbar nach einem langen Tunnel rechts abbiegen in Richtung Airole oder von Norden (Breil-sur-Roya) kommend nach 13 km (ab Breil) unmittelbar vor dem Tunnel und der Straßenbrücke über die Roya links abbiegen in Richtung Airole. Wir fahren bei den ersten Häusern links hinauf in die Ortschaft und parken dort das Auto.
Either from Ventimiglia on the SS 20 in the direction of Breil-sur-Roya, Tende, Cuneo and after about 12 km, immediately after a long tunnel turn right in the direction of Airole or coming from the north (Breil-sur-Roya) after 13 km (from Breil) immediately before the tunnel and the road bridge over the Roya turn left in the direction of Airole. Vom zentralen Platz (Kirche links und Brunnen in der Mitte) in Airole geht es in östlicher Richtung die Straße (Via Garibaldi) mit den treppenartigen flachen Stufen hinauf (Wegweiser "Rocchetta" und "Basse d'Abellio"). Wir sind nun auf dem "Sentiero 1" auf der Internetkarte (CWiki). Alsbald gehen wir bei einer ersten Verzeigung von diesem links ab (Richtung Monte Abellio; rechts würde es zum Valle Para gehen), einige Meter danach rechts. Wir folgen nun dem Weg bergauf, der mit weiß-roter Markierung gekennzeichnet ist. Vorbei an einem Brunnen, kommen wir auf die Straße nach Fasceo, verlassen sie nach einigen Metern wieder nach links (Richtung Monte Abellio), um steil hinaufzusteigen zum kleinen Sattel ("Croce del Coletto"), von dem aus wir einen schönen (Rück-)Blick auf Airole und das Royatal haben.
Wir folgen dem Weg noch etwa 250 m, dann biegen wir links ab auf einen kleinen Pfad, der horizontal den Hang entlangläuft. Auf diesem Pfad gehen wir etwa eine halbe Stunde und kommen dann zu den verfallenen Häusern von Case Sorvan (460 m ü.NN). Wir gehen an der ersten Hausruine vorbei und nehmen einige Meter weiter eine nur schlecht erkennbare Pfadspur nach links, der wir quer durch die Bäume abwärts folgen bis zum Bach (430 m ü.NN).
Folléas-Giminez beschreiben einen Zustieg immer in Bachnähe und steigen etwa 130 m weiter unten (300 m ü.NN) ein.
From the central square (church on the left and fountain in the middle) in Airole, head east up the road (Via Garibaldi) with the stair-like flat steps (signposts "Rocchetta" and "Basse d'Abellio"). We are now on "Sentiero 1" on the internet map (CWiki). We soon turn left at the first signpost (towards Monte Abellio; to the right would take us to Valle Para), a few meters further on we turn right. We now follow the path uphill, which is marked with white and red markings. Passing a fountain, we come to the road to Fasceo, leave it again after a few meters to the left (towards Monte Abellio) to climb steeply up to the small saddle ("Croce del Coletto"), from where we have a beautiful (rear) view of Airole and the Roya Valley.
Follow the path for about 250 m, then turn left onto a small path that runs horizontally along the slope. We walk along this path for about half an hour and then come to the ruined houses of Case Sorvan (460 m above sea level). We pass the first ruined house and a few meters further on take a poorly visible path to the left, which we follow downhill through the trees to the stream (430 m a.s.l.).
Folléas-Giminez describe an access path always close to the stream and we enter about 130 m further down (300 m a.s.l.).

Auf der Höhe eines kleinen Dammes mit einem großen Wasserreservoir darunter (ENEL) steigen wir links hinaus auf einen dürftigen Pfad, stoßen auf einen anderen, der von links herabkommt und treffen dann auf eine Straße, der wir nach Airole hinein folgen.
Ein weiterer Abstieg ist wegen der Wasserfassung und dem etwas stinkigen Wasser aus dieser nicht empfehlenswert.
At the height of a small dam with a large water reservoir below (ENEL), we climb out to the left onto a poor path, join another path coming down from the left and then come to a road which we follow into Airole.
A further descent is not recommended because of the water catchment and the somewhat smelly water from it.
