From Huesca on the A-132 about 72 km in the direction of Pamplona. After reaching the N-240 coming from Jaca, turn north at Puente la Reina into the Hecho Valley. 24 km further on you come to Hecho. Continuing northward, after another 8.2 km, passing Siresa, we reach the old forestry house, today "centro de interpretación del megalitismo". Here we park our car. A conversion is possible, but makes no sense.

We continue along the tarred road and up into the rock face above the canyon. After about 400m (from the forester's lodge), the road comes close to the river and we follow the clear sprinkles that lead down to the river bed.

Tour (1 h 30): traduction alternative ➜

First walk and wade in the river bed, then the impressive narrowing with several river crossings. On the rock face on the left, avoid the waterfall and climb up to the clamping block, from which you can jump. An unpleasant narrow section with a lot of water can be bypassed on the left (then rappel). At the wide waterfall that follows (2nd rappel on the left edge) and lots of water, the only option - for the first one - is to jump into the spray, but an emergency exit is possible beforehand. Rappels are not advisable here, especially if there is a lot of water flowing backwards. Once the first person is down, a self-ferry can be set up for the others (2x30m ropes required). Then swim out to the canyon exit.

At the canyon exit, turn right and follow the clear tracks through the pine forest to the former forester's lodge. The Neos can be washed out at the fountain
