Auf der N-240 von Lleida oder auf der A-138 von Frankreich durch debn Tunnel von Bielsa über Ainsa nach Barbastro. Auf der Umgehungsstraße um die Stadt herum und auf der N-240 weiter in Richtung Huesca. Ungefähr 22 km nach Barbastro zweigen wir rechts auf die A-1229 ab. Über Abiego und Bierge (nach Abiego links abbiegen) kommen wir nach Rodellar (ca. 30 km ab der Abzweigung von der N-240).\n\nHaben wir 2 Autos zur Verfügung, kann man eines beim "Camping El Puente" am Alcanadre abstellen (etwa 600 m vor Rodellar die Teerstraße links steil hinab (Wegweiser).

In Rodellar der Beschilderung zum Barranco Mascun folgen. Wir kommen hinunter zum Bach, queren diesen und kommen zur Quelle auf der rechten Seite. Weiter geht es nordwärts, wir gehen nun links den Bco Fornocal de Andrebot hinauf. Wir kommen aus den Büschen heraus und stehen auf einer freien Hochfläche. Rechts geht der Hauptweg weiter in Richtung Nazarre und Einstieg Gorgas Negras. Wir folgen ihm durch das "Vallon de los Moros" und kommen auf der Höhe zu dem Dolmen "losa Mora", der etwas rechts abseits liegt. Evtl. kann man hier den Blick auf die schneebedeckten Gipfel des Pyrenäenhauptkammes genießen. Witer geht es in Richtung NNw zu den Ruinen von Nasarre zu. Links daran borbei und beim letzten Haus nicht mehr wie früher halbrechts die Piste abwärts bis zum Einstieg, sondern halblinks den Spuren folgen, die sich zu einem Pfad verdichten, der am linken Hang abwärts zieht. Er bringt uns unmittelbar vor der ersten Verengung zum Einstieg.
In Rodellar, follow the signs to Barranco Mascun. We descend to the stream, cross it and come to the spring on the right. We continue northwards, turning left up the Bco Fornocal de Andrebot. We emerge from the bushes and stand on an open plateau. The main path continues to the right towards Nazarre and the entry to Gorgas Negras. We follow it through the "Vallon de los Moros" and reach the "losa Mora" dolmen at the top, which is slightly off to the right. Here you may be able to enjoy the view of the snow-covered peaks of the main Pyrenean ridge. Continue in a northerly direction towards the ruins of Nasarre. Pass it on the left and at the last house no longer follow the track half-right downhill to the entry as before, but follow the tracks half-left, which merge into a path that descends on the left-hand slope. It brings us to the entry just before the first narrowing.

Zu Beginn wechseln meist flache Gumpen mit kleineren Gefällestufen ab. Dann wird der Abstieg abwechslungsreich. Abseiler (fast alle springbar), kleinere Passagen im Souterrain und wir kommen zum markanten Topf. Bei wenig Wasserdurchsatz im Sommer aus gebückter Haltung von links springbar, vei viel Wasserdurchsatz rechts über die 20 m - Wand abseilbar. Dann eine enge Passage. in den folgenden großen Gumpen eine spürbar kalte Karstquelle. Am rechtwinkligen Knick haben wir den sportlicheren Teil schon weitgehend hinter uns. Es folgen ein Chaos, Laufstrecken, einige Sprungmöglichkeiten und dann der große Gumpen, in den man aus großer Höhe springen kann. Alternativ kann man aber am linken Rand des Felsens durch ein kleines Koch unter die große Deckplatte und so vom linken Rand in den Gumpen eintauchen. Über diesen "Weg" in umgrkehrter Richtung lassen sich hier auch Sprünge wiederholen. Nun geht es etwas ermüdend trotz der Schönheit der Landschaft hinaus bis zur großen Wiese mit Quelle und den Pappeln am Beginn des Barrasil.
At the beginning, mostly flat pools alternate with smaller gradients. Then the descent becomes varied. Rappels (almost all jumpable), smaller passages in the souterrain and we come to the striking pot. If there is little water flow in summer, it is jumpable from the left from a crouched position, if there is a lot of water flow, it can be abseiled on the right over the 20 m wall. Then a narrow passage. A noticeably cold karst spring in the following large pools. At the right-angled bend, the more athletic part is largely behind us. This is followed by chaos, running sections, a few possible jumps and then the large pool into which you can jump from a great height. Alternatively, you can dive into the pool from the left-hand edge of the rock through a small cook under the large cover plate. Jumps can also be repeated here via this "path" in the opposite direction. Despite the beauty of the scenic landscape, it is now a somewhat tiring walk out to the large meadow with the spring and the poplars at the beginning of the Barrasil.

Alles tip top. Aktuell super Wasserstand. Viele Sprünge möglich. Am Anfang ein top Canyon, aber das heraus gehen bzw. schwimmen ist sehr anstrengend. Sehr rutschig und volle Konzentration erforderlich. Geologisch sehr eindrucksvoll. Auto-Auto ca. 8 Stunden.
Everything tip top. Currently superiore water level. Many jumps possible. A top canyon at the beginning, but going out or swimming is very strenuous. Very slippery and requires full concentration. Geologically very impressive. Car-car approx. 8 hours.

Ca coule tout du long. DC-. Des parties avec des résurgences d'eau très froide ! Fait en boucle depuis le camping "El Puente" et donc enchainé avec le Barrasil. Longue marche aquatique entrecoupée de quelques rappels (trop rare!), premier tiers et final très beau, ambience magnifique, milieux du parcours un peu décevant. En boucle depuis le camping 12h30. 3H30-4h00 de marche d'approche, 7h30 dans le canyon et 1 heure de pause. On est rentré par la trace gpx (https://drive.google.com/file/d/17yDlU0hnCMQi97JorgQWwF3KwalZNp0K/view?usp=sharing) qui mène à un affluent sec (Barranco de Las Picarizas) par 2 rappel (8 puis 12m) sur monopoint. Il faut bien suivre la trace GPS pour pas se perdre sur les 10 dernière minutes. La trace passe dans une ravine juste avant le Barranco) qu'il faut suivre sur 20-30 mètres avant de ressortir par une sente RG. L'arrivée dans le Barranco de Las Picarizas se fait sur les derniers mètres au travers des arbres sur une pente raide qu'il faut négocier par la droite et permet de rejoindre une plateforme ou vous trouverez le premier point.

Débit DC + qui passe bien ça fait une bonne journée avec Barrasil . Pour ceux qui n'utilisent pas la trace gpx. Il faut garder le gr tout le long, traverser le village abandonné (et pas le coutourner) , après 20 min, vous quittez le gr à la bifurcation avec le canyon indiqué.

Très beau parcours, de nouveau praticable dans de bonnes conditions après les fortes pluies survenues une semaine avant.Avec ce débit, de grosses marmites dans certaines vasques habituellement sautables et quelques siphons qui nécessitent de rester vigilant. Il faut être à l'aise dans l'eau car obligatoire de poser les pieds dans l'actif sur certaines désescalades. Sinon très sympa de se laisser tranquillement pousser en planche par le courant dans les sections de nage finale :)
