Von Château d'Oex im Saane-Tal nehmen wir die B11, Route des Mosses in Richtung Aigle (im Rhônetal). Wir biegen am Kreisverkehr von der Grande Rue ab und erreichen nach 1,6 km die Straßenverzweigung beim Weiler La Rosette. Hier kann man ein Auto-Umsetzung einleiten (nicht notwendig und auch nicht unbedingt lohnend). Dazu biegt man rechts ab auf die Straße nach Les moulins, Bulle. Wir fahren 500m leicht bergab und biegen dann links ab auf eine schmale Straße, die uns weitere 600m nach Süden führt, bis zu ihrem Ende bei einem Bauernhof. Hier das Auto für den Ausstieg an geeigneter Stelle abstellen. Mit dem zweiten Auto zurück zur Straßenverzweigung bei La Rosette. Von hier weiter auf der B11 in südlicher Richtung - Aigle. Die Straße zieht nun hoch oben am Schluchtrand entlang. 2,1 km fahren wir ab La Rosette, dann sehen wir rechterhand einen Parkpatz mit einem kleinen Häuschen der Straßenmeisterei. Hier stellen wir unser - ggf. zweites - Auto ab.

From Château d'Oex in the Saane valley, we take the B11, Route des Mosses in the direction of Aigle (in the Rhône valley). We turn off the Grande Rue at the traffic circle and after 1.6 km reach the road junction at the hamlet of La Rosette. Here you can start a car transfer (not necessary and not necessarily worthwhile). To do this, turn right onto the road to Les moulins, Bulle. Continue slightly downhill for 500m and then turn left onto a narrow road that takes you south for another 600m to its exit at a farm. Park the car here in a suitable place for the exit. Take the second car back to the road junction at La Rosette. From here, continue on the B11 in a southerly direction - Aigle. The road now runs high up along the canyon rim. We drive 2.1 km from La Rosette, then we see a parking lot with a small road maintenance depot on the righthand side. This is where we park our - possibly second - car.

Wir nehmen den Forstweg der am südlichen Ende des Parlplatzes von der Teerstraße abzweigt und folgen ihm so weit, bis ein wegloser Abstieg rechts hinunter zum Fluss möglich erscheint. Etwas weiter auf dem Forstweg (ca. 200m) soll ein steiler Pfad zum Fluss hinunterführen. Unten trift man auf einen Trampelpfad, der die Torneresse rechtsufrig begleitet. Nach etwa gut 5 Min. wechselt die Spur auf die orograf. linke Flussseite, wo wir nach weiteren 7 Minuten zum Einstieg bem großen Felsen in Flussmitte kommen..

We take the forest path that branches off from the tarred road at the southern exit of Parlplatz and follow it until a pathless descent to the right down to the river appears possible. A little further along the forest path (approx. 200m), a steep path leads down to the river. At the bottom you come to a trail that accompanies the Torneresse on the right bank. After about 5 minutes, the tracks change to the orographic left side of the river, where after another 7 minutes we reach the entry point at the large rocks in the middle of the river.

Zunächst noch in offenem Taleinschnitt kommen wir bald in eng eingeschnittene Rinnen mit kleinen Rutsch- und Sprung-Möglichkeiten. Schwimmpassagen sind relativ selten. Schließlich weitet sich die Enge wieder und wir gehen die letzten Meter in einem breiten Bachbett.

Initially still in open valley we soon come to narrowly cut chutes with small slides and jumps. Swimming passages are relatively rare. Finally, the narrowness widens again and we walk the last meters in a wide streambed.

Wir nehmen den Pfad, der rechts aus dem Fluss hinausführt, queren eine sumpfige kleine Lichtung und kommen auf eine Wiese. An deren li. Rand gehen wir unter Bäumen aufwärts, treffen auf einen Wanderweg und folgen diesem nach rechts zum Bauernhof, wo ggf. unser zuerst abgestelltes Auto steht. Haben wir hier kein Auto stehen, steigen wir am Wiesenrand hinauf zur Straße (B11) und folgen dieser in südlicher Richtung zum Auto.

We take the path that leads out of the river on the right, cross a small marshy clearing and come to a meadow. At the left edge of the meadow we go up under trees, meet a hiking trail and follow it to the right to the farm, where our first parked car may be. If we don't have a car here, we climb up along the edge of the meadow to the road (B11) and follow this in a southerly direction to the car.
