Kaufen Sie in einem Restaurant in Sumvitg ein Auto-Zufahrtsticket für das Val Russein. Anschließend fahren Sie ins Val Russein, vorbei an der Staumauer und weiter bis zu einer Abzweigung (1531 m ü. M.). Biegen Sie hier links ab und parken Sie ganz am Ende.
Buy a car access ticket for Val Russein in a restaurant in Sumvitg. Then drive into Val Russein, past the dam wall and on to a junction (1531 m above sea level). Turn left here and park at the very exit.

Überqueren Sie den Bach Aua da Cavrein und wandern Sie auf dem Wanderweg RG hinauf, bis Sie die Aua da Cavrein ein zweites Mal überqueren (Höhe 1775 m). Entweder man startet direkt oberhalb der Brücke oder man geht 5 Minuten weiter, um einen unerforschten Abschnitt zu finden, den wir bei der Öffnung des Canyons verpasst haben.
Cross the Aua da Cavrein stream and hike up on the RG hiking trail until you cross the Aua da Cavrein a second time (altitude 1775 m). Either start just above the bridge or continue for 5 minutes to find an unexplored part that we missed when the canyon opened.

Da im Val Cavrein immer ein hoher Wasserstand herrscht, handelt es sich eher um eine Wasserschlucht mit einigen anspruchsvollen und beeindruckend aussehenden Abseilstellen.
Es sind mehrere Ausgänge möglich. Das Ende bietet sehr schöne Abseilstellen...
Oben eher weniger interessant, am besten ab Haupteinstieg begehen.
As there is always a high water level in Val Cavrein, it is more of a water gorge with some challenging and impressive-looking abseils.
Several exits are possible. The exit offers some very beautiful abseils...
Less interesting at the top, best to start at the main entrance.

Wir hatten extrem viel Wasser und sind direkt nach der Grotte ausgestiegen.
Der Teil oberhalb der Grotte ist wenig lohnenswert. Es ist sehr glatt. Die Grotte unter der Brücke (primärer Zustieg) ist ein sehr schöner Abschnitt der Schlucht.

We had a lot of water and got out right after the grotto.
The part above the grotto is not very worthwhile. It is very slippery. The grotto below the bridge (primary access) is a very beautiful part of the canyon.
