Von Barbastro in Richtung Alquézar. Nach etwa 20 km auf der neu ausgebauten A-1232 bei der Verzweigung an der Brücke des Rio Vero (jenseits der Brücke Camping Rio Vero) rechts ab und auf der A-2205 über Colungo weiter in Richtung Arcusa, Ainsa. Die Straße windet sich nun kurvenreich nordwärts. Man überquert den Bco Palomeras Fornocal (8,1 km ab Rio Vero - Brücke). Jenseits der Brücke können wir links am Straßenrand unser Auto abstellen.

From Barbastro in the direction of Alquézar. After about 20 km on the newly extended A-1232, turn right at the junction at the Rio Vero bridge (beyond the Camping Rio Vero bridge) and continue on the A-2205 via Colungo in the direction of Arcusa, Ainsa. The road now winds its way northwards. You cross the Bco Palomeras Fornocal (8.1 km from Rio Vero bridge). On the other side of the bridge, we can park our car on the left-hand side of the road.

Vom Auto nehmen wir den Pfad, der am nördlichen Brückenende nach Osten zieht, am oriograf. rechten Hang des Barranco. Wir durchqueren noch die Buschzone, um unmittelbar danach in's Bachbett abzusteigen.

From the car we take the path that heads east at the northern end of the bridge, on the orographic right slope of the Barranco. We cross the bush zone and then immediately descend into the streambed.

6 Abseiler in die enge, dunkle Klamm hinab. In der Sohle laufen und klemmen wir dann hinaus zum Fornocal.

6 rappels down into the narrow, dark gorge. We then walk and jam along the bottom to the Fornocal.

Unmittelbar vom Klammende am Gegenhang auf einen Steig aufsteigen. Die ersten Meter sind undeutlich, dann wird der Steig bald deutlicher sichtbarer. Eine Seilsicherung und eine massive Betontreppe helfen über einen Konglomerataufschwung bevor die restlichen Höhenmeter mit steilen Kehren überwunden werden.

Directly from the end of the gorge on the opposite slope, ascend onto a path. The first few meters are indistinct, then the path soon becomes more clearly visible. A rope safety device and a massive concrete staircase help you over a conglomerate upswing before the remaining meters of altitude are overcome with steep hairpin bends.
