By car (steep, largely asphalted, a few curves), ideal on e-bike (can be rented in Claut at Alchymya shop).
In 2024 a higher portion of the road was being maintained and closed for traffic. Bikes was no problem for the workers.

Park in the curve at alt. 800 (one car max.) at a rock with graffiti 'Rete' - we see the arrival of the canyon in front. Hike up the large bouldery dry river on the right, to complete a short loop across the little hill that separates us from the canyon. No use hiking up all the way to the mountain (canyon only starts lower), but cross the little hill at 900masl. max.
Tour (1 h):

Tributary has a few abseils from single 8mm anchors backed-up by abalakovs, some downclimbing. Never technical, but offering a taste of typical Dolomite scenery.
Val Ferron has two rappels in right bank, max 8m...and some little tobogas with downclimbing.
Retour (5 min):

The road is spotted from the last abseil. We climb up the same dry river bed, back to the rock with graffiti 'rete' or enter in val Ferron with two rappels.

Scesa solo la parte bassa a valle delle opere idriche. Due belle strettoie che meritano se vi avanzano 30 minuti di sole.
Descended only the lower part downstream of the water works. Two nice bottlenecks that are worthwhile if you have 30 minutes of sunshine left.

Discovered the tour exploring the valleys on bike. I ran the upper and lower part of the canyon (only the lower is interesting). The single 8mm anchors were a bit minimal, so i backed them up with abalakovs. Next time / next group brings 4 quicklinks to complete.
Hydrologie:

In summer water will flow below surface level until the first abseil where it appears, and until the exit where it disappears. Small water catchment area. The canyon will depend on rain, snowmelt and subterranean reserves, but still flows minimal long after rain has fallen.
