From there by bike to Trachsellauenen, and then it's 1000m uphill on foot. For a long time the route heads towards Rottal Hütte, but after the Bärenflue you turn left to the start of the .

You start at the right tributary, then switch to the left at the hiking trail. At the top, some of the rappels are nicely polished, the further down it goes, the more bouldery it becomes.

At the confluence with the Rottalbach, cross the field to get back to the bridge at Trachsellauenen.

Not quite so sunny at this time of year, better to go 2 months before. Watch out for the hanging glacier above (it broke off in 2009 and the avalanche went all the way down to Trachsellauenen).
