Von Torbole Richtung Riva del Garda dann auf der SS45 durch Limone bis in den Ort Campione (Abfahrt im Tunnel). Man parkt das Überstellungsfahrzeug in der Nähe des Baches. Mit dem 2. Fährt auf der SS45 wieder zurück und weiter Richtung Tremosine hoch. Bei Pieve folgt man der Straße Richtung Pregasio. Nach einiger Zeit kommt die kleine Ortschaft Cadignano. Hier biegt man li ab und fährt bis zum terrassenartigen Parkplatz. Hier parken. (Geht man nur den unteren Teil der Schlucht, kann man auf ein 2. PWK verzichten.)

From Torbole towards Riva del Garda then on the SS45 through Limone to the town of Campione (exit in the tunnel). You park the shuttle car near the stream. With the 2nd drive back on the SS45 and continue up towards Tremosine. At Pieve follow the road towards Pregasio. After a while you reach the small village of Cadignano. Here you turn left and drive up to the terraced parking lot. Park here. (If you go only the lower part of the canyon, you can do without a 2nd PWK).

Vom Parkplatz bei der Häusergruppe mit steinernem Durchgang (Brunnen) folgt man den rechten Weg 203 und 204 zur Brücke Preone hinunter(290Hm).

From the parking lot near the group of houses with stone passage (fountain) follow the right path 203 and 204 down to the bridge Preone(290Hm).

Es gibt 3 Begehungsmöglichkeiten. 1. (4,5-5h) Campione von Anfang bis Ende. Von der Brücke Preone (290Hm) seilt man sich vom ausgesetzten Kettenstand 25m in die Schlucht ab (für diese Variante parkt man in der Ortschaft Cadignano) 2. (ca. 8h) Tignalga + Campione (siehe Beschreibung Tignalga) 3. (ca. 1,5h) Nach dem Stausee bei der Wehranlage. Für diese Variante muss man den Weg 267 von der Ortschaft Campione ca. 20min hochgehen). Der größte Teil der Campione ist ein Wandercanyon mit kleinen Kletterpassagen und Stufen über Fixseile. Es gibt immer wieder kleine Zuflüsse. Im Mittelteil kommt eine 90° re. Kurve. Danach verengt sich die Schlucht. Über mehrere rutschige Klettereien und Gehpassagen kommt man am Schluss zu 2 künstlichen angelegten Gefällestufen und dem Stausee. Hier rechts hinaus schwimmen und li. über die Wehranlage und Absperrung klettern. Danach führt der Schotterweg wieder re. zum Bach hinunter. Jetzt ca. 100m bis zu Mauer mit Pegelstation schwimmen/gehen. Wenn man die Mauer hochgeklettert ist kann man re. über den Notausstieg (Wanderweg 267) aussteigen. Der schönste Teil der Tour beginnt hier. Man startet mit einen 25m Abseiler li in eine Grotte mit je nach Wasserstand, trockenen/vollen Gumpen. Eine kurze Abseilstelle bzw. Sprung von ca. 7m führt zum ausgesetzten Stand vom 50m Abseiler (für den Seilabzug empfiehlt sich ein 60m Seil) Nach einer ca. 30m engen Schwimmpassage kommen noch 3 Abseilstellen mit ca. 10m. Die erste Stelle kann man li oder re Abseilen oder nach Kontrolle der Wassertiefe re von 10/8/6m in großen Gumpen springen. Es folgen kurze Geh- und Kletterpassage bis zum letzten Abseiler li 10m. Die nächsten Stellen werden li über Felsen umgangen bevor man vor der Brücke wieder in den Bach absteigt. Nun folgt man das flache Bachbett bis zum Kiesstrand.

There are 3 walk options. 1. (4,5-5h) Campione from start to exit. (ca. 8h) Tignalga + Campione (see description Tignalga) 3. (ca. 1,5h) After the reservoir at the weir. For this variant you have to go up path 267 from the village of Campione for about 20min). Most of Campione is a hiking canyon with small climbing passages and steps over fixed ropes. There are always small tributaries. In the middle part there is a 90° right bend. After that the canyon narrows. Over several slippery climbs and walking passages you come at the end to 2 artificial slopes and the reservoir. Here swim out to the right and climb to the left over the weir and barrier. Afterwards, the gravel path leads back down to the right to the stream. Now swim/walk approx. 100m to wall with water level station. When you have climbed up the wall you can get out on the right via the emergency exit (hiking trail 267). The most beautiful part of the tour starts here. You start with a 25m rappel left into a grotto with, depending on the water level, dry/full pools. A short rappel or jump of about 7m leads to the exposed stance of the 50m rappel (for the rope retrival a 60m rope is recommended). After a 30m narrow swimming passage there are 3 more rappels of about 10m. The first place can be rappelled on the left or on the right or after checking the water depth on the right of 10/8/6m you can jump into big pools. Short walking and climbing passages follow until the last rappel left 10m. The next passages are bypassed on the left over rocks before descending back into the stream before the bridge. Now follow the shallow streambed to the gravel beach.
