Von Domodossola nordwärts über Crodo nach Baceno, dort rechts auf der N 659 weiter bis Premia (insges. ca. 20 km ab Domodossola). In der Ortschaft auf der 2. Straße rechts ab in Richtung Crego. Nach ca. 150 m (nach einer S-Schleife der Straße) von dieser li. ab auf ein Sträßchen, das in Richtung Schlucht hinuntergeht.Wo ein Pfad vor den Häusern re. abzweigt, ein Fahrzeug abstellen.
Mit dem zweiten Fahrzeug zurück und auf der Straße von Premia nach Crego weiter in südlicher Richtung hinunter. Auf Höhe einer natürlichen Kletterwand zur Rechten re. abbiegen und auf dem Sträßchen hinunter,später am Toce entlang flussabwärts, nach Uriezzo. Bei der Kapelle parken.
From Domodossola northwards via Crodo to Baceno, then turn right onto the N 659 to Premia (approx. 20 km from Domodossola). In the village, take the 2nd road on the right towards Crego. After approx. 150 m (after an S-loop in the road), turn left off the road onto a small road that descends towards the canyon, where a path branches off to the right in front of the canyons.
Return with the second vehicle and continue south along the road from Premia to Crego. At the height of a natural climbing wall, turn right and descend on the small road, later along the Toce downstream to Uriezzo. Park at the chapel.

Vom Auto bei Premia den genannten Fußweg hinunter zur Brücke über den Toce. Dort am orograf. re. Ufer einem Pfad flussaufwärts folgen, bis man die Stelle erreicht, wo der Toce aus seinem breiten Kies- und Geröllbett in die Verengung aus gewachsenem Fels hinabrauscht. Hier Zustieg, evtl. mit Sprung.
From the car at Premia, descend along the aforementioned footpath to the bridge over the Toce. There, on the orographic right bank, follow a path upstream until you reach the place where the Toce river rushes down from its wide gravel and scree bed into the constriction of grown rock. Access here, possibly with a jump.

Die Schlucht ist zu Beginn offen und freundlich, wirkt aber in ihren Engstellen aufgrund des starken Wasserdurchsatzes manchmal fast bedrohlich. Die erste Engstelle nach der Brücke kann man rechts oben umgehen, den Einstieg in die zweite Verengung sollte man unbedingt re. oben umgehen und nach dem Abfall vom Baum in die Schlucht seilen (17 m). Wenn die nun folgende Rutsche nach dem Klemmblock im Wasser (Siphon) aufgrund von Hindernissen (Baum, Stein) nicht passierbar ist, dann auf dem Band li. vorne Haken (sehr glatter Zustieg!). Beim 17m-Wasserfall, der li. abgeseilt wird, wegen der Rücklaufgefahr im darunterliegenden Gumpen noch auf dem Fundament an dessen Fuß möglichst weit nach re. queren, bevor man losschwimmt.
Für die Abseiler in Gumpen längeres Abziehseil (bzw. Seilverlängerung) sinnvoll.
Oberhalb der Schlucht sind mehrere Stauanlagen mit automatischer Schleusenöffnung. Deshalb wird allseits (insbes. auch vom A.I.C.) von einer Begehung dringend abgeraten.
The canyon is open and friendly at the beginning, but sometimes seems almost threatening in its narrow sections due to the strong water flow. The first narrow section after the bridge can be bypassed on the right at the top, the entry into the second narrow section should definitely be bypassed on the right at the top and roped into the canyon after the drop from the tree (17 m). If the following slide after the clamping block in the water (siphon) is not passable due to obstacles (tree, stone), then anchor on the ledge on the left (very smooth access!). At the 17m waterfall, which is rappelled on the left, cross as far as possible to the right on the base of the pool below due to the risk of backflow before swimming off.
A longer rappel rope (or rope extension) is useful for rappels in pools.
Above the canyon there are several dams with automatic lock opening. For this reason, everyone (especially the A.I.C.) strongly advises against an ascent.

Ausstiegsmöglichkeit etwa 500 m nach der Straßenbrücke, die Premia und Credo verbindet (rechts hinauf zur Straße und auf dieser re. nach Uriezzo und zum Auto). Der reguläre Abstieg führt weiter bis zu einer Brücke, wo man aussteigt und nach Uriezzo hinaufwandert.
Exit about 500 m after the road bridge that connects Premia and Credo (right up to the road and on it right to Uriezzo and the car). The regular descent continues until a bridge where you get off and walk up to Uriezzo.
