Von Nizza nach Norden ins Tineetal (D 2205 Richtung Isola) bis Pont de Clans. Hier ist der Ausstiegsparkplatz. Da man die Anlieger hier nicht durch das Abstellen des Autos verärgern sollte, etwa 200m weiter fahren zu einem Parkplatz bei der Abzweigung der Straße nach Clans. Mit einem zweiten Fahrzeug nach Clans hinauffahren (D 55) bis zu einer scharfen Linkskehre nach 4,5 km, die genau unter einer Hochspannungsleitung liegt. In der Kehre nach rechts abbiegen und auf schmaler Teerstraße 300 m leicht bergab um den Bergrücken herum. An der nächsten Y-Verzweigung links (leicht aufwärts, dann flach) und nach 500 m scharf rechts abbiegen (Wegweiser "pont romain") und über die Schotterpiste in 1 km direkt zum Einstieg an der Brücke.

From Nice, head north into the Tineetal valley (D 2205 towards Isola) as far as Pont de Clans. This is the parking exit. As you should not annoy the local residents by parking your car here, drive about 200m further to a parking lot at the junction of the road to Clans. Drive up to Clans in a second vehicle (D 55) until you reach a sharp leftward haipin bend after 4.5 km, which lies directly under a high-voltage power line. Turn right at the hairpin bends and follow the narrow tarred road slightly downhill for 300 m around the ridge. Turn left at the next Y-junction (slightly uphill, then flat) and after 500 m turn sharp right (signpost "pont romain") and follow the gravel road for 1 km directly to the entry point at the bridge.

Dieser wegen seiner Länge nicht anfängergeeignete Canyon hat im Mittelteil eine sehr lange Wanderstrecke, die allerdings praktisch immer in eingeschnittener Canyonumgebung verläuft und nur wenige Fluchtwege bietet. Vor allem der Anfangsbereich und das Ende bieten faszinierende Abseilstellen. Gegen Ende, unterhalb der Chapelle St Sebastien gibt es einen Bergsturz, der überklettert werden muss.

This canyon, which is not suitable for beginners due to its length, has a very long hiking route in the middle section, which, however, practically always runs in an incised canyon environment and offers only a few escape routes. Kurz vor Erreichen der Pont de Clans rechts auf bezeichnetem Weg "sortie canyon" hinauf zur Straße und dort rechts zum Parkplatz. Schon vorher ist bei der Wasserableitung ein Ausstieg möglich. Dieser führt hinauf zur Straße, die man etwas oberhalb der Kapelle erreicht. In diiesem Fall das (ggf. untere) Auto bei der Kapelle abstellen.

Shortly before reaching the Pont de Clans, turn right on the marked "sortie canyon" path up to the road and then right to the parking lot. An exit is possible beforehand at the water drainage. This leads up to the road, which you reach just above the chapel. In this case, park the car (possibly the lower one) at the chapel.
