Aus Richtung Nizza auf der M 6202 (früher RN 202) den Var aufwärts. Wir passieren Plan du Var und den Weiler Chaudan. 1,5 km nach diesem Weiler biegen wir rechts auf eine Parkstreifen ab und parken hier unser Auto.

From Nice, take the M 6202 (formerly RN 202) up the Var. We pass Plan du Var and the hamlet of Chaudan. 1.5 km after this hamlet, we turn right onto a parking lane and park our car here.

Wir queren mit großer Vorsicht die beiden Fahrbahnen und das Gleis. Auf einer Hängebrücke den Fluß Var. Auf der anderen Seite folgen wir dem Wanderweg entlang am Canal du Gabre (gelbe Markierungen). Dann queren wir den Kanal und gehen den Weg am orograf. linken Hang des Canyons hinauf. Wo der Weg den Bach kreuzt, steigen wir ein.

We cross the two roadways and the railroad track with great care. On the other side, we follow the hiking trail along the Canal du Gabre (yellow markings). Then cross the canal and follow the path up the orographic left slope of the canyon. Where the path crosses the stream, we take the path.

Direkt nach dem Kanal steigen wir links aus und folgen dem Pfad Var aufwärts. So kommen wir auf unseren Anmarschweg und gelangen zu unserem Auto.

Immediately after the canal, we turn left and follow the Var path uphill. This brings us to our approach route and we reach our car.

Automatisch importiert von Descente-Canyon.com für Canyon Hirondelles Aucun saut et toboggan possible. On rentre dans certaines vasques jusqu'au buste parfois. Equipement ok. Le débit du Var nous a permis de sortir en le traversant moyennant quand même un encordement. A noter qu'à quelques mètres à gauche de la berge en sortant du canyon, on a posé et laissé un anneau de corde sur un arbre pour installer la corde de traversée.
