Wirklich schöne und Abwechslungsreiche Tour. Im oberen Teil mit wenig Wasser und tief eingeschnitten geht ohne lange Gehstrecken voran bis zur Mündung in die Rocica. Die Absicherung wurde bei der letzten Begehung maßgeblich verbessert und ist jetzt ganz ok. Ein paar Bäume liegen aktuell in der Schlucht, können aber gut umgangen werden. Bei der Mündung befindet sich ein teilweise versicherter Steig bei dem man auf Wanderer trifft und welcher auch als Ausstieg genutzt werden kann. Die Wasserqualität nimmt in der Rocica schlagartig zu. Über eine relativ lange gehstrecke bei der hin und wieder abgeklettert wird gelangt man zum eindrucksvollen 65m Wasserfall. Unser 60m CE4Y Seil hat nicht ganz gereicht und wir haben ein 70m Halbstatikseil verwendet. (Eventuell würde ein 60m mit Seildehnung ausreichen). Nach einem weiteren 5m Abseiler und einer kurzen Gehstrecke folgt rechts der Ausstieg bis man auf die Schotterstraße trifft die zurück in den Ort führt. In der Rocica sind gesamt nur 3 Abseiler, aber mit dem 60m Wasserfall und den tiefblauen Becken definitiv lohnend. Gesamt gesehen ist die Brusnik eine wunderbare Canyoningtour die zwei komplett unterschiedliche Canyons verbinden.

Really beautiful and varied tour. In the upper part with little water and deep cuts, the route leads to the mouth of the Rocica without long walking passages. The protection was significantly improved during the last ascent and is now quite ok. There are currently a few trees in the canyon, but they can be easily bypassed. There is a partially secured path at the mouth where you will meet hikers and which can also be used as an exit. The water quality increases abruptly in the Rocica. The impressive 65m waterfall can be reached via a relatively long walk with downclimbs from time to time. Our 60m CE4Y rope was not quite enough and we used a 70m semi-static rope. (Perhaps a 60m with rope stretch would be sufficient). After another 5m rappel and a short walking passages, the exit follows on the right until you reach the gravel road that leads back to the village. In the Rocica there are only 3 rappels in total, but with the 60m waterfall and the deep blue pools it is definitely worthwhile. All in all, the Brusnik is a wonderful canyoning tour that combines two completely different canyons.

Most of the anchor points in the canyon have been changed, single bolts or chains. Beautiful canyon. Poor water quality if there is no rain.

Sind den Canyon heute begangen. Habe die Beschreibung leicht angepasst und Koordinaten der Parkplätze hinzugefügt. Beschreibung passt jedoch sehr gut. Brusnik ist eng mit Schichtkalk jedoch sind im Wasser viele Trübstoffe. Trotzdem interessant und geologisch schön. Die Hakenqualität ist mäßig und man sollte ein Notborset dabei haben. Sobald man in die Rocica kommt wird die Wasserqualität schlagartig besser mit sehr schönen Einzelstellen mit ein paar Sprüngen und Abseilern und dem Highlight - dem 60m Wasserfall in das Tiefblaue becken. Standqualität in der Rocica ist wesentlich besser als im Brusnik. Angeblich soll oberhalb der Mündung vom Brusnik bis auf ein Abseiler (möglicherweise Sprung) nichts drinnen sein. Es müsste aber die Möglichkeit geben kurz vor der Einmündung des Brusnik in die Rocica or. re. der Via Ferrata aufzusteigen und dann in die Rocica einzusteigen, kurz vor der schönen Einzelstelle (haben wir nicht gemacht, sondern ich habs mir danach auf der Karte angesehen)

Walked the canyon today. I have slightly adapted the description and added the coordinates of the parking lots. Description fits very well. Brusnik is narrow with layered limestone but there is a lot of turbidity in the water. Nevertheless interesting and geologically beautiful. The hook quality is moderate and you should have an emergency bait set with you. As soon as you get into the Rocica, the water quality suddenly improves with very nice individual spots with a few jumps and rappels and the highlight - the 60m waterfall into the deep blue basin. The quality of the water in the Rocica is much better than in the Brusnik. Allegedly there is nothing above the mouth of the Brusnik except for a rappel (possibly a jump). But there should be the possibility to climb up just before the Brusnik joins the Rocica ortographic right of the Via Ferrata and then enter the Rocica just before the beautiful single pitch (we didn't do this, but I looked at it on the map afterwards).
