From Schwaz in the Inn valley to Vomp and in the village near the church north towards Vomperberg. At the following junctions always keep left in the direction of Gasthaus Karwendelrast. Once here, park your car in a suitable place.

Approche (2 h 30): traduction alternative ➜

From the Karwendelrast inn (860 m above sea level) on a forest road for about 1500 m in a westerly direction until a path (no. 224) turns off to the left to the 'Hallangerhaus'. Soon you come to the Haag Bründl (Stub Bach). Immediately after the brook the path branches off. At the same altitude you would continue to Vomper Loch and to the entry into the Unterer Tuwaldbach (Lower Kühsoacher). But we take the path to the right up to the Tawaldhütte (1274m altitude), direction Niedernissl, Hochnissl Spitze. Immediately after passing the Tawald hunting lodge, the path branches again. To the left, at about the same altitude, we go to the lower entry to the Tiefen Graben at 1260m altitude (at Amor/Riml "E1").\nTo the upper entry at 1670m (at Amor/Riml "E") we continue uphill to about 1600m altitude. Here we turn left off the trail and follow the track through the mountain pines to the entry at 1670m.

From "E" at 1670m altitude to "E2" about 25 rappel in a mostly deep canyon. \nDuring an ascent in Oct. 2018 - entry "E" - a total of 3 anchors were missing.

Retour (50 min): traduction alternative ➜

Either get off at "E2" on the access path to the Unterer Tuwaldbach and to the Karwendelrast inn or better continue down the Unterer Tuwaldbach to Vomper Loch (for this descent and the following return route see the description Unterer Tuwaldbach/ Unterer Kühsoacher).
