Drive up to CILAOS and take the D242 toward ILET in CORDES. Drive through the BRAS ROUGE canyon, past the first parking lot and the GOBERT canyon. 100 meters further on, in a left-hand curve, two or three vehicles can park near a wooden table (elevation 1,280 m).

From the parking lot, head into the canyon above the bridge. Immediately take a path that ascends on the right. The path climbs quite steeply. Follow it along the ridge that separates COIN superiore from GOBERT superiore (beautiful views of CILAOS). After 20 minutes, a trail branches off to the left—which you should not take (alternate route from COIN superiore)—and you continue on to a small plateau in front of a rock barrier, which you go around on the left. This is the first canyon with running water.
