We turn from the T20 (Corte - Ponte Leccia at Francardo on the D84 towards Calacuccia. After about 6 km we cross the Golo on the Ponte Castirla. 1.6 km further on we turn left down from the D84 at the "Casa Magdala". We cross the Golo again and then we go up in serpentines until the exit of the road. From the junction to here it is 4,3 km, from the bridge 3,7 km. Here we park our car, if we do not have to leave it before, because the road is closed for motor vehicles. In this case, an e-bike would be recommended.

To the right of the tunnel opening begins a path that leads us to the streambed of the Petra Leccia. We climb one more step up the stream on the orographic left side to be able to "take" the opening slide (about 10m).

The way back begins above the last "skid slide". From there we follow the tracks and the cairns to the approach path and then go back to the car on this path.
