Auf der B 308 kommend dem ausgeschilderten Weg folgend nach Winkel zum Parkplatz "Starzlachklamm".

Coming on the B 308 follow the signposted path to Winkel to the parking lot "Starzlachklamm".

Vom Parkplatz gelangt man in ca. 15 Min. auf einem ausgebauten Wanderweg zum Eingang des Klammsteiges. Hier Eintrittskarte (2007: 2,50 ¤) lösen und weiter den Steig entlang durch die Schlucht, bis der Weg sich am Ende gabelt. Dort rechts über die Holzbrücke und noch ca.100 m weiter bis zu einem Bänkchen auf der orograf. linken Seite des Baches, wo eingestiegen wird..

From the parking lot, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the entrance to the Klammsteig on a well-maintained hiking trail. Here you can buy an entrance ticket (2007: 2,50 ¤) and continue along the path through the canyon until the path forks at the exit. Turn right over the wooden bridge and continue for about 100 m until you reach a bench on the orographic left side of the stream.

Beim ersten Wasserfall muss nicht durchs Wasser abgeseilt werden, auch wenn es von unten sehr unangenehm aussieht. Bei viel Wasser wird der enge Kanal im Mittelstück eventuell heikel und man hat Probleme, den Sicherungshaken links oben zu erreichen. Der kleine Wasserfall darunter bildet mit dem darüberliegenden Stein, von dem nach entsprechender Prüfung des Unterwassers gesprungen werden kann, einen Sifon. Den Schlusswasserfall geht man in der schmalen Rinne rechts an. Für die lange Schlussrutsche plaziert man seinen Allerwertesten auf der linken Seite des Schwimm-Gumpenrandes genau auf einer etwas aufragenden Nase, um optimal in die überhöhte Kurve zu kommen. Auch dann ist das Rutschen jedoch nicht steuerbar, der Einschlag erfolgt meist mit der Breitseite direkt am Gumpenrand unterhalb des Felsens, aber auch ein Landung auf dem Fels mit Eingleiten in's Wasser ist problemlos. Die Klamm hat den Status eines Naturdenkmals und darf vor dem 15. Mai wegen Brutzeit der Wasseramsel nicht begangen werden. Auch kommerziell wird die Klamm stark begangen.

At the first waterfall, there is no need to rappel through the water, even if it looks very unpleasant from below. If there is a lot of water, the narrow channel in the middle section may be tricky and you may have problems reaching the safety hook at the top left. The small waterfall below forms a siphon with the rock above, which can be jumped from after checking the underwater. Approach the final waterfall in the narrow chute on the right. For the long final slide, place your backside on the left-hand side of the edge of the swim pit, right on a slightly protruding nose, to get the best possible entry into the elevated bends. Even then, however, the slide is not controllable, the impact is usually broadside directly on the edge of the gorge below the rock, but landing on the rock and sliding into the water is also no problem. The gorge has the status of a natural monument and may not be entered before May 15th due to the dipper breeding season. The gorge is also heavily frequented commercially.
