This is a pleasant canyon that can be descended in half a day. The 45m rappel is particularly beautiful.

From Domodossola, head to Villadossola and take the Val d'Antrona road. One kilometer after the village of Boschetto, the road crosses the stream. Park 200m before the bridge.

Between the parking area and the bridge, take a path that leads to a footbridge, and descend just before it on the right.

Two small, easy water slides (toboggans) precede two inclined slabs that may require the use of a rope. You reach a penstock (water pipe); the canyon starts to narrow/gorge. An S3 (3m jump), a C12 (12m rappel), and a T2 (2m slide) lead us to a beautiful 8m jump into a suspended pool. A retrievable traverse line (handrail) on the right bank allows access to the start of the C45 for a rather spectacular descent. There remains a C20 before reaching the Ovesca River. Downstream, you must cross a large 70m pool with narrow walls to find the exit trail on the right bank.

After the pool, climb to the right up a fairly steep path to find a good trail, then cross the canyon on a footbridge and continue climbing up to the village of Boschetto. Follow the road back to the upstream parking area.

For it to present a medium difficulty level, the flow rate must be fairly low.
