From Bad Tölz via Lengries to the Sylvenstein reservoir. 200 meters after the bridge over the lake - about 100 meters before the signposted turnoff to Fall - turn left, continue straight through the forest to the parking lot for hikers for the Bächental.

From the P. continue in the direction of Bächental. The road crosses the Dürrach and leads orographic uphill on the right bank parallel to the Dürrach. Approx. 2.5 km after the bridge, a gravel road branches off to the right to the Stierschlaghütte (signposted "Lärchkogel, Tölzer Hütte, Schafreiter"). Follow this road for about 300m downhill to the bridge over the Dürrach with a slide brake underneath. The entry is immediately to the left behind the bridge or down to the right before the bridge.
